Fall Wedding Bouquets for Brides

Fall Wedding Bouquets for Brides

Fall wedding bouquets incorporate your style, your taste and your wedding theme in one little time honored symbol. Many people continue tradition by using a simple fall theme. Fall is a beautiful time of year with warm brilliant colors and crisp cool weather. The trees turned all sorts of beautiful shades of orange, red, purple, yellow, gold and burgundy. There are many types of berries and nuts on the trees in the fall as well as cornucopias of gourds and pumpkins. Why not incorporate everything that fall has to offer in your bridal bouquet? Whether you are looking for something simple or something elegant, something warm or something bright, there are many choices for a fall bridal bouquet.

Roses and lilies make an elegant combination for a bridal bouquet. Lilies come in beautiful oranges and yellows. Roses can be yellow, gold, cream, orange, russet or even burgundy. Mixed together with a splash of purple delphinium they will be an eye-catching arrangement. Whether or not you choose to add greens to the bouquet does not really matter since they will look beautiful either way.

Although Roses and lilies are a nice combination, a simple elegant bouquet of roses can be equally as beautiful. You may choose to do a combination of orange and russet roses or even gold and russet roses. Burgundy and cream colored roses also make a striking arrangement. Don’t discount a simple bouquet of your favorite fall rose color accented with baby’s breath or ferns. The beautiful fall roses also look nice as a potpourri of all the colors tied with a simple gold ribbon.

One of my favorite flowers is the calla lily. There are varieties of calla lilies that would be perfect for a fall wedding bouquet such as miniature calla lilies. They are usually a warm russet color and look beautiful gathered in a bunch with their stems left bare tied with an elegant ribbon. Miniature calla lilies also can make a nice addition to other fall bouquets.

Another unique idea for a fall wedding bouquet is to pay homage to the beautiful fall colors and the season by adding berries, nuts or leaves to your bouquet. It will all come down to timing but fall leaves will make a beautiful addition. If you don’t have the option of adding fall colored leaves, a sprig of berries or a few acorns will give your bouquet a fall look.

For a simpler fall wedding bouquet, you may want to consider chrysanthemums. Mums thrive in the fall season and are usually quite hardy. They are most commonly found in white, gold and burgundy. Though if you look around, you may find some variations or dual colored mums. You can accent your mum bouquet with any of the other beautiful fall flowers or add sprigs of berries or even a small gourd in the center. No matter what combination you use, your fall wedding bouquet will be wonderful.
