Edward’s Singles Georgia Pecan Pie Review

Nutritional Content

Edward’s Singles Georgia Pecan Pie slices are perfect for those practicing portion control. I was excited to taste the Georgia Pecan Pie since it’s a favorite holiday pie. Sometimes you just want a sliver of pecan pie, which is one of the most caloric and fattening pies.

In a nutshell, pun intended, the Edward’s Singles will have you repeating as Harry said in the movie, When Harry Met Sally, “I would be proud to partake of your pecan pie.”

I loved the rich taste of the Edward’s pecan pie. The crust did not taste homemade, but for a frozen pie, it was fairly close. The best part was the gooey, delicious center of the pie and the generous pecans on top. It has a sweet brown-sugar like taste that melts in your mouth.

Here are a few facts I learned about the Edward’s Georgia Pecan pie from my review:

No. 1: Edward’s Singles Georgia Pecan Pie calories: One piece contains 390 calories, but it’s filling enough to divide into two pieces which equals 195 calories.

No. 2: Edward’s Singles Georgia Pecan Pie nutritional content: The Edward’s pie reminded me of my holiday pecan pie recipe, but I never knew the nutritional content of the homemade version. Their slice has 21 grams of fat, 210 mg sodium, 21 grams of sugar, 3 grams of protein, 49 total carbs and 1 gram of fiber. It has 6 percent of the iron recommended for the day and 2 percent Vitamin A.

No. 3: Edward’s Singles Georgia Pecan Pie ingredients: The ingredients in their pecan pie recipe include corn syrup, wheat flour, sugar, pecans, water, eggs, vegetable shortening, salt, artificial flavor and other ingredients.

No. 4: Edward’s Singles Georgia Pecan Pie allergens: The pie contains wheat, pecans, eggs and soy.

No. 5: Edward’s Singles Georgia Pecan Pie is distributed by Schwan’s Consumer Brands North America based in Bloomingdale Minnesota.

One package contains two slices. Just thaw and serve. While storing the Edward’s pecan pie, it’s best to keep in the freezer. It can stay in the refrigerator for up to there days.

For taste, I give the Edward’s Georgia Pecan Pie a 4.5 out of 5. It may not be your best pecan pie recipe ever, but it’s pretty close! With the convenient single serving slices, you will never be tempted to finish an entire pecan pie.
