Easy Super Bowl Snack & Appetizer Recipes

Appetizer Recipes, Crescent Rolls

If you are planning an awesome Super Bowl party, you are going to need some great snack or appetizer recipes to keep your guests happy. Here are three great Super Bowl recipes for some super yummy snacks. The first appetizer recipe is for Little Smokies; the second is for Stuffed Crescent Rolls; and the third recipe is for some creamy deviled eggs.

Super Bowl Appetizer Recipes: Little Smokies

I always looked forward to snacking on Little Smokies as a kid, and they will make great appetizers for your hungry party guests. If you make them the way I’ve always made them, all you need is a package of Hillshire Farms Lit’l Smokies and a bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce. The amount you need will vary depending on your number of guests and how many other snacks you plan on feeding them.

Dump the smokies in a slow cooker or cook them in a pot on the cooktop. Pour enough barbecue sauce in to cover them. Cook over medium heat until they are warmed through. If you are heating in a slow cooker for a longer period of time, you can cook on low heat. (I like to sample them as they cook, so I’m not sure of an exact time).

Super Bowl Appetizer Recipes: Stuffed Crescent Rolls

You really can stuff crescent rolls with anything you like in order to make a great party appetizer for your guests. My favorites are meat and cheese. Here are a few other ideas to make these easy stuffed snacks for your Super Bowl party: cream cheese, sour cream, leftover ham or turkey, tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, or your favorite diced veggies.

Here’s how to stuff the rolls: Begin by popping a tube of Pillsbury crescent rolls and unrolling the dough. You should have a pile of triangles in front of you. Now you can spread some cream cheese or tomato sauce in a thin layer on each triangle. Sprinkle some cheese and top them with meat or veggies, then roll each triangle into a crescent shape. Remember not to stuff them too full, or you won’t be able to roll them up! Now bake for the recommended amount of time and enjoy.

Super Bowl Appetizer Recipes: Deviled Eggs

I love deviled eggs, and your guests will enjoy this quick and easy snack, too. They will be easier to make if you have an egg tray but, if you don’t, just be creative and use whatever you have in the kitchen to hold the eggs up. Begin by boiling your desired amount of eggs and removing the shells. Then cut each of the eggs in half, lengthwise.

Now scoop the yolk out of each egg and drop it in a bowl. Mix with mayonnaise or salad dressing (1/2 tablespoon for each egg) and a teaspoon of mustard for every six eggs. Finally, sprinkle a little salt and pepper to taste.

Mix until well blended and carefully drop a spoonful of the mixture back into each of the egg white halves. To add a little color, sprinkle some paprika over each egg and refrigerate until the appetizers are ready to be served.
