Dunhill Desire Red Cologne for Men” a “Must Have” Toilette Spray!

Colognes, Hugo Boss, Knockoff, men's cologne

Dunhill Desire, an unheralded cologne with a style all its own with no peers or clones, is a necessity for any man’s medicine cabinet or bedside chest.

This appealing fragrance, launched by the design house of Alfred Dunhill in 1997, is often classified as a flowery fragrance, yet it possesses an appealing and masculine scent that seperates it from a boring knockoff industry with little separation between labels.

I set out attempting to add to my arsenal of favorite colognes which includes Joop, Curve, and Hugo Boss, three distinctive scents that are some of the most popular and appealing on the market. It was by mere luck that I stumbled upon Dunhill Desire in a local Kohl’s store. Standing there and sampling various strange colognes, I was looking for that magical scent that I had smelled elsewhere. Unfortunately as a traditional macho male who values “man etiquette”, I had always hesitated to ask a fellow gentleman “What is that scent you are wearing?”, for fear of receiving a strange look from an unsuspecting stranger.

I opened the cap and I knew I had hit the jackpot. The long lost scent had been Dunhill Desire and it has been a staple of my aromatic arsenal for a few months now. An amazing blend of warm and sensual fruits and wood intermingles with a hint of vanilla and musk, this is an unmistakable scent that is makes a man extremely popular within any room he enters.

Price-wise, “Desire” is competitive and often slightly less expensive that its major competitors, the aforementioned Joop, Curve, Hugo Boss, and other industry stalwarts. The best quality about this cologne is a substantial staying power and its own distinctive aroma that provides any man with another varying scent to “change things up” on a daily basis. In an industry where 90% of all colognes fail to deliver anything unique, “Desire” fills the void beautifully and I strongly recommend this fine fragrance.

The cologne comes with a nice, flip-out cap and is contained within a distinctive red bottle that even looks as good as this fragrance smells. Yert another perk. As a long-time aficionado of men’s cologne and someone who places a high value on unique and appealing fragrances that set themselves apart, let me endorse Dunhill “Desire”, selling for the $27 to $35 range in many fine retail stores and a purchase that you will certainly not regret from Day 1.
