Diapers for Bedwetting: Underjams Vs GoodNites

Diapers

There are so many different diapers for bedwetters on the market that it can be frightful to try to choose the right one. You don’t want your child to be embarrassed, you don’t want to spend money on something that isn’t worth it, and you probably don’t want to buy a product that you know nothing about-right? My children have used both Underjams and GoodNites diapers and this review will break down their thoughts on each as well as mine!

GoodNites Diapers for Bedwetting

GoodNites have proven to be a great diaper for overnight for both of my daughters. They have really great leak protection and there is little creasing or bunching with these diapers for bedwetters. Even at a low weight range for the GoodNites, my daughter never once had a leak when she used these diapers. She was able to sleep soundly though the entire night and not worry about leaks or the possibility of anyone knowing that she was wearing the GoodNites diaper.

Especially nice is that these diapers for bedwetters are low cut so they are very discrete. Even older children can feel comfortable wearing them because nobody can tell that they are any different than underwear once you put pajamas on over top. They do not make any noise or sounds when the child moves or tosses and turns throughout the night and the snug fit allows for ample protection in case there is an accident.

Pampers Underjams for Bedwetting

Pampers have always been one of my favorites when it comes to diapers but unfortunately, I cannot say the same when it comes to these overnight style diapers for bedwetters. They bunch all up and my daughter was always uncomfortable in them. She didn’t like the noise that they made when she moved and I absolutely hated the way that they leaked-every single time! The Underjams were very discrete in the cut and style that they were so they really made my daughter think that they were going to be a great option-until she got them on and realized how noisy they were. Maybe it’s just that she was on the low end of the weight range for them so the diaper was actually a bit big for her but it really didn’t seem to fit the way it should.

The Pampers leaked all the time even with the slightest accident and they really offered little protection against wetness. While these diapers for bedwetters do have side tabs for easy adjusting, it seems like these tabs are more harm than they are good. They often come undone on their own as the velcro is not strong enough to hold them together-even when there is not stretch or pressure being placed on the diaper. I think that the last thing a child who wets the bed should have to deal with is the possibility of the diaper coming off in the middle of the night!

Overall Pampers Underjams VS GoodNites

GoodNites won at our house big time. They have great leak protection which is something that you cannot count on from Underjams! The GoodNites also seem to be far quieter than the Pampers. They stretch and bed easily but fit snugly enough to keep from allowing any moisture from escaping when your child moves in the bed! GoodNites really do make you have Good Mornings!
