Deck of Poker Cards are simple way to really bring home a game room theme perfect for poker night. If you use the CD cases you already have in your home, you should be able to easily make these CD Deck of Poker Cards box picture frames into wall art for less than $30 easily.

To Make These Simple Deck of Poker Cards Wall Art You Will Need:

Empty CD boxes

Scissors

Hot Glue

Green felt

Deck of cards

Picture hanging hooks

Ribbon

Other craft embellishments

Ruler

Black Magic Marker

Cardboard or card stock

Open your CD box and take out the paper inserts and the molded plastic piece into which the CD fits.

Use your tape measure or ruler to measure your CD case. Draw out the square onto the card stock and Cut your green felt to just larger than the CD box. You will be fitting it into the back of the box with the hinged edge at the top, so about 4 inches wide and 4 ¾ inches high will be about right.

Fix the green felt against the card stock with a few small pieces of sticky-tape. This will help to fit the photo snugly behind the plastic and to the edges of the frame.

Now, repeat this on 52 CD jewel cases. You will need one for reach card.

Now, use the hot glue to adhere the Deck of Poker Cards to each piece of felt. One poker card should be in each frame.

Now, glue one frame hook you the back of each CD box frame holding the deck of poker cards. Use the flat hardware that is meant to be tacked into the back of a wood frame.

Once the glue dries you can embellish your Deck of Poker Cards frames further or begin hanging them on the wall.

To Embellish Further:

Now all you need to do is draw a line of glue on the outside edges of the front of the CD box. Cut your yellow ribbon to fit the edge of the CD box and attach it with the bead of glue. You can embellish the front of the plastic CD case nay way that you want to. Dice, wooden cut outs, poker chips, and plastic drink stirs are all great crafting materials for this.

You can use artwork in place of a Deck of Poker Cards. You could take a photo of each card in the deck and print them out on your computer. You could also photocopy a deck of cards and paint them with accent colors.

Rubber pencil erasers also make a great border glued onto the frame of the Deck of Poker Cards frame CD case.

To Hang Them:

I recommend hanging your Deck of Poker Cards CD box frames in a collection on the wall to make one cohesive wall art project. For example you could do a 52 box display. This means you would need 52 CD box frames. Hang five in a row horizontally and five down vertically. Fill in the rest of the box. You can place the two extra centered on the top.
