Daddy’s Little Girl: A Father’s Day Poem

Since the moment I was born,
I’ve been daddy’s little girl.
He has loved every hair on my head,
Down to the last curl.

He would take me in his car ,
And let me drive the back road.
We told each other stories,
In our secret language code.

No matter what I did,
Daddy was always by my side.
Even when I made him angry,
I couldn’t run or hide.

Throughout the years, he has been,
The one I look up to the most.
He doesn’t lie, cheat, or steal,
He doesn’t brag or boast.

No matter how many kids I have,
Or how old I get.
No matter how far away I move,
Or how bad I am in debt .

The one thing that will never change,
I will always be daddy’s little girl.
