CRIME MOB Infiltrates College Campuses

Cm

All their promotions beckon prospects to “Join Crime Mob College.” This might seem like a totally strange concept but this new offering is boasting chart topping numbers for applications, enrollment and class participation.

The Syllabus is taken from the “Hated On Mostly” compilation along with previously written subject matter. Class credit is given for mastering related class materials like ” Rock Yo Hips,” “Knuck If You Buck” and “Stillettos (Pumps),” to name just a few. New offerings include “Circles,” a haunting lesson on the painful agony of being in a dysfunctional relationship, infused with a little classic Luther Vandross. There is even a class orientation video carefully choreographed with bands, cheerleaders and a Step Team to let all prospective students know that this college is “CRUNK.

The CRIME MOB offering originated in the suburbs of Ellenwood ,Georgia when six rowdy teenagers connected around music and a little mischief. The “Professors” are Brittany “Diamond” Carpenter, Alphonse “Cyco Black” Smith, MIG, & Princess. They are now riding the charts as the #6 selection nation- wide. With that bit of affirmation, they are hyped and ready to increase their ever growing “class.” Recently graduated from High School, the average age of these teachers is 19 but they have assured me that they are more than ready for College….hence the creation of CRIME MOB COLLEGE.

The group was brought to my attention by my nieces and nephews in Atlanta and ultimately through my daughter who now “Rocks Her Hips” every chance she gets. So, when I got the opportunity to speak with this group of “musical teachers” that have reached prominence strictly from street support, underground CD’s, props from BME Artist Lil Scrappy and exciting shows that have been known to cause pandemonium, I could not resist.
