Controlled Labs Green Magnitude Review

Atp, Creatine, Creatine Monohydrate

Controlled Labs Green Magnitude is part of the Controlled Labs stack (Green Magnitude, White Flood, and Purple Wraath) that I am currently using and am very pleased with. Green Magnitude is advertised as a creatine matrix volumizer, a more complicated way of describing the supplement’s key ability to increase stamina in the gym and lead to significant gains in size and strength. I use the Sour Green Apple flavor; the taste is phenomenal and instantly dissolves in water.

The Science behind Green Magnitude

The science behind Green Magnitude is the combination of Magnesium Creatine Chelate and Dicreatine Malate, both of which are crucial during workouts (both anaerobic and aerobic) because they are involved in the efficient production and utilization of ATP, the body’s immediate energy source for muscle contraction. Basic biology shows us how Green Magnitude can vastly improve workouts and subsequent muscle gain. Our muscles can be understood as biochemical motors that use the chemical adenosine triphosphate (ATP) as an energy source. When we exercise, ATP is “burned” because muscle fibers only contain enough ATP to power a few twitches. Thus, in order to continue, our muscles must continually generate ATP while our body is simultaneously forced to supply oxygen to the muscles to eliminate waste products and heat.

Although the body can certainly manage this ATP consumption and production for a short time by taking from ATP reserves, ATP shortage and depletion leads to workout exhaustion and the inability to keep going. Green Magnitude fights against this by quickly providing the body with creatine that shutters ATP back into depleted muscles. This translates to extra repetitions, added energy, and increases in strength and muscle gains. If you’re wondering about whether or not using creatine is a natural resolution, you have nothing to worry about. In fact, the body actually produces small amounts of creatine for this very reason (the average male produces 2-3g of creatine daily). The key is providing your muscles with just a little more to resource and use.

One of the primary reasons I am such an advocate of Green Magnitude is because Controlled Labs understands that our body doesn’t need obscene amounts of extra creatine to make significant gains. With that said, one serving of Green Magnitude is only 5g of Creatine, and that is all that you need. There is no loading phase, and unlike complaints with some users of Creatine Monohydrate, Green Magnitude is very easy on the stomach.

The Best Way to Take Green Magnitude

You can actually purchase 80 servings of Green Magnitude at bodybuilding.com for $39.99 plus shipping and handling. That is at least 80 workouts! I say at least because I have actually found countless other lifters who have been very happy with results stemming from only using half a scoop of Green Magnitude.

The best way to take Green Magnitude is to combine it with water and another simple sugar to further enhance creatine uptake. I highly recommend mixing Green Magnitude with Vitamin Water or Gatorade (the mixes without high fructose corn syrup) and water. The best possible mixture would include the above and Controlled Labs White Flood and/or Purple Wraath.

In terms of when to take Green Magnitude, Controlled Labs advises taking it 30-60 minutes prior to working out, although I have taken it 15 minutes before on multiple occasions and still enjoyed the results. Sometimes I take 1 full scoop of Green Magnitude before, while other times I split the scoop and take 1 half before and 1 half after. I recommend you try both methods. Hopefully this Controlled Labs Green Magnitude review helps!
