Color Me Baseball

Baseball Coloring Pages

Spring is finally here! And with spring comes baseball season. So let’s hit the web and look for some homerun worthy coloring pages. Who doesn’t like to color right? It’s not just for kids, so come on parents, break out your crayons and make a night of it with your children. Here are some of the best sites I have found for free baseball coloring pages.

The easiest way to find baseball coloring pages is to do a simple search of baseball coloring pics on Yahoo. Many pages come up with this easy search.

If it’s general baseball coloring pages your looking for then this site is for you. It contains free printables of things like baseballs, bats, gloves, and children playing baseball. One is a cute one of a baseball mascot wearing a hat and a smile and holding a bat and glove. The site also contains some tips for easy printing. If your JavaScript enabled, you can print easily without the annoying advertisements.

This next free site is Print Activities and they have a lot to choose from, everything from batters, to catchers, fielders, pitchers, umpires, injured baseball players, girl players, families, and even animal baseball players. This site does not show a preview, just a list. So choose which picture you want to look at and click on it to see what it looks like. My favorite is the “dog catcher”. It’s of a bulldog in a catcher suit, not an actual dog catcher!

If its team mascots you’re looking for I found a nice site that has all the MLB mascots with a few to choose from for each. It’s nicely organized alphabetically and contains each teams mailing address so your child can color the mascot and send it to the teams. My favorite here is of course the Detroit Tigers mascot “Paws”. I may have to print a few of these for myself. This is one of the few sites that offer MLB coloring pages instead of generic baseball coloring pages.

Now for a site that you can color the picture online. There are only four pictures to choose from but no mess and no clean up. Let your child color right online. They can choose what color they want to use then just click on the picture and it fills right in. You can even choose a background or a frame to put on your picture. The downfall here is you cannot print when you are done.

At The Teachers Corner you will not only find coloring pages, but also journal pages with little baseball pictures in the corner. So if you’re little baseball fan likes to write, these are the pages for you. They can color the picture and write you a story to go along with it on the lined page. They have other baseball themes items here like crossword puzzles and word scrambles. So not only can your child color, but they can learn at the same time.

If you’re looking for a picture of a baseball hat your child can make their own design on then this site is for you. There are a couple of other baseball pictures you can print, but the hat is the nicest because it gives your child the opportunity to be creative with their design.

At Preschool Coloring Book there are several baseball player pictures to print out for coloring fun. This site has one of a baseball coach too, which I haven’t found at other sites.

More Coloring Pages has a few pictures to choose from. You can either print already colored or blank so you can color yourself. They have a cute one of a batter striking out.

For those children who are not only baseball fans but Berenstain Bear fans also, this is a really cute picture to print and color.

And my final choice for baseball printables is Crayola Coloring Pages. This is a nice site for a few coloring pages because they have pictures to color and facts about baseball and one where you can draw a picture of you in the baseball uniform. They have a very nice page of Jackie Robinson which contains a short biography about him.

So for you coloring fans out there these are the best sites I found for baseball pictures. Remember, even if you are not a coloring fan, but maybe a scrapbooker, these sites are also nice for paper piecing ideas! With this many sites to choose from you’re sure to not strikeout.
