Chipotle Mexican Grill Solon, Ohio

Chipotle

If you’ve ever had food from Chipotle Mexican Grill before, then you’ve had good food. While I still would like to comment on the food in this article, the main part of this article will have to do with the restaurant at this location itself.

We decided to get some burritos from Chipotle a few days ago (we as in myself, my husband, my brother in law and sister in law). When we have Chipotle, we always know we’re in for good eating. Upon entry, we were actually surprised that the line was not too long. Sometimes when you go to Chipotle, there is a pretty long line even though it moves quite quickly. My husband and I decided on our usual: A chicken fajita burrito. I’ve noticed that every time we get it from different Chipotle restaurants, some taste better than others, although they are all good. What were we going to get today? We were about to find out.

I usually want a bit more rice and corn on my burrito but I don’t always get it. I asked anyway and I did get it. There is usually a server per item or two going on the burrito so when one is done, it usually gets passed on to the next. It was handled rather efficiently although I had never been to this location before. When I did ask for extra corn salsa, I can tell that the manager standing nearby wasn’t too pleased but nonetheless, no big fuss was made about it.

The burrito is wrapped in pre-cut foil where it is kept warm until you are ready to sit down and eat. First time goers (including myself) seem to always unwrap the entire foil off the burrito and then eat it. This is not a good idea as everything will fall apart as you eat.

I didn’t use the bathroom so I’m not sure as to the cleanliness of it. However, the others in our foursome did and had it been disgusting, they would have said something. It was a nice day to sit on the patio so we did. It was pretty clean out there excluding the table that had just left which was entirely understandable.

Unfortunately, it was about to rain cats and dogs so we headed in for cover. So far, in all the Chipotle restaurants I go in, the air condition for some reason is really high. I’m not sure if that is due to the open kitchen. When you are standing in line, it is pretty warm. I’m not going to complain too much about that because I’m not expecting this little restaurant to regulate the air in one part of the restaurant over the other. I just make sure to bring a jacket (although this time I forgot). From what I could see, the tables were clean and chairs tidily pushed under the tables unless someone or a group just left. I noticed that as soon as it stopped raining, right away, two employees went outside on the patio to straighten the tables, chairs and umbrellas and to clean any debris that was on the ground. I was impressed by that.
