Charities in San Diego, California to Donate to This Holiday Season

San Diego

The Holidays are upon us, and what better way to spend them than giving back? Your community needs your help with food, clothing, blankets and money especially when the weather gets cold. I wanted to take a moment to mention the local charities in San Diego, California that would love any donation you can give.

Ronald McDonald House of San Diego
Since 1980, The Ronald McDonald House of San Diego has provided a safe and comfortable place for over 14,000 families! When children get seriously ill and end up in Children’s Hospital or another San Diego area hospital, their families need a place to go near their child. Because of the growing need, a second Ronald McDonald house was built. They accept all forms of donations from money, cars, toys and games, blankets and food.

Donations to Ronald McDonald House of San Diego can be made through their website or you can call or drop by Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. You can also find out about their various volunteer opportunities here.
