There are not as many Catholic Churches in Boston as there used to be with parishes being closed and consolidated, but there are Catholic Churches in most of the neighborhoods of Boston. From the biggest cathedral to the smallest chapel, each one of the Catholic Churches in Boston has a different variety of programs for the entire family, some with special programs geared for their community. St Cecilia’s Parish has been serving the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston since 1888. Children’s religious education takes place after the 9:30 mass on Sunday. The parish also runs Saint Cecilia’s House, a residence for low income senior citizens 62 and older. The mass schedule is 7:30 a.m. (Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri) and Wednesday 6:30 p.m. Saturday 5:00 p.m and Sunday 8:00, 9:30, 11:00 a.m. and
(academic year only) 6:00 p.m.

St Francis Prudential Chapel is right in the Prudential Center. They have a large schedule of masses – Weekdays
8:00 AM, 12:05PM, 12:35 PM and 4:45 PM Saturday
9:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM in Spanish and Sunday 8 AM, 9:15 AM,10:30 AM,11:45 AM
1:15 PM in Spanish, 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM. With most parishes cutting back on the number of masses, St Francis gives you a convenient place to come at a time of your choice.

The Cathedral of Holy Cross is the parish of Sean Patrick Cardinal O’ Malley, the Archbishop of Boston. Weekday masses- Monday to Saturday are at 9 AM and Tuesday and Thursday there is a 7PM mass in Spanish. On Sunday there is 6:30 Am and 11:30 Am in English and 9:30 AM in Spanish.
