11 Holiday Concerts in Boston You Can’t Miss

In addition to a sleigh-full of must-see holiday events, tree lighting, and free family events in Boston, be sure to catch a holiday concert performances this season. Or, give an early gift of music to family or friends and buy a pair of tickets as a gift.

A Christmas Celtic Sojourn

A Christmas Celtic Sojourn is a night of Celtic holiday music featuring Brian O’Donovan. This holiday performance has something for everyone including holiday songs, poems, holiday stories dancing, and of course, Christmas music.

Music will be performed by the band Solas, Dougie MacLean, Aoife O’Donovan, Natalie Haas, and Alasdair Fraser, according to the Cutler Majestic Theatre.

A Christmas Celtic Sojourn has performances from Thursday, December 13, 2007 through Saturday, December 22, 2007. Thursday and Friday performances are at 8pm, Saturday performances are at 3pm and 8pm, and Sunday performances are at 3pm.

Bach’s Christmas Oratorio

The Handel and Haydn Society presents an evening of holiday classical music with Bach’s Christmas Oratorio. The holiday concert musicians and chorus will be conducted by Grant Llewellyn. The holiday concert performance dates are Sunday, December 16, 2007 through Wednesday, December 19, 2007. Tickets range in price from $34 to $67.
