Caesar’s Pocono Resorts

Group Games, Pocono Mountains

If you are looking to take a vacation and stay in the Pocono Mountains of Eastern Pennsylvania, you need to look no further for accommodations than Caesar’s Pocono Resorts. Caesar’s offers four resorts located in the eastern Poconos – Pocono Palace, Paradise Stream, Cove Haven, and Brookdale. Pocono Palace, Paradise Stream, and Cove Haven are couples only – no children are allowed. This is great if you are looking to enjoy a romantic getaway with your significant other. But if you are in need of a more family friendly location, Brookdale welcomes children.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Pocono Palace – one of the couples only resorts. We were both really impressed with absolutely everything from the room to the food, activities, and everything else the resort has to offer. At first the rates do sound really high, but when you take into consideration everything you get for the money, it isn’t so bad. The rates are mostly all-inclusive. Most everything is included aside from alcoholic beverages.

Breakfast and dinner are both included. For breakfast, you can choose to either go to the dining room to enjoy a full buffet, or you can fill out a menu the night before with fewer options and have breakfast delivered to your room during a time frame of your choosing. During dinner time you go to the dining room and eat with other couples. They have several excellent food choices. If you are hungry between breakfast and dinner, there is a café on site where you can get food anytime. It is not included in your room rate, so you do have to pay out of pocket. The food is good, and it does not cost any more than you would expect to pay at most nice casual dining restaurants.

Caesar’s Pocono Resorts offer plenty of activities year-round that are included in your room rate. You can opt for several activities both indoors and out, and when you stay at one resort you are welcome to participate in activities at any of the four. This does however exclude bringing children to any of the couples only resorts. Between the four resorts, you can play sports in indoor gymnasiums, play video games, pool, table games, and putt putt golf in indoor game rooms, participate in organized group games, fish, hike, golf, ski, swim, go snowmobiling and much much more. No mater what you are into, you’re sure to find something you will enjoy doing.

The most important aspect is the rooms, and they are wonderful. My husband and I chose to stay in a Fantasy Apple room, and it was exactly as described, if not better. The room was really nice and clean. Some rooms (like the one we booked) even have small private in room swimming pools. The only downside I did see was that the pools in the rooms are kept really warm and I would prefer cooler.

All in all, the Caesar’s Pocono Resorts are a great place to stay. There is plenty to do, and you really get your money’s worth. The resort’s staff is wonderful. They work very hard to ensure a pleasant stay, and from my experience they are successful in this.
