Easy Bundt Cake Recipes From a Mix:

The Tunnel of Fudge Bundt Cake is an easy cake which can be made from a mix. Start by mixing up a Deviled Food chocolate cake mix with pudding. Mix according to the package directions for a Bundt cake. Set the mix aside. Using a 3 oz box of a fudge type Pudding and Pie mix, you will make the fudge tunnel filling. Heat 1 ½ cups of milk in a medium sized pan, adding in the pudding mix and stirring until dissolved. Continue to bring to a boil slowly so you don’t scorch the mixture. Cook for five minutes, remove from heat and stir in a 6 ounce bag of chocolate chips. The dark chocolate ones make this Tunnel of Fudge Bundt cake even richer. Stir until dissolved.

Next you’ll assemble the Tunnel of Fudge Bundt cake in whatever Bundt pan you have selected. Spray the pan with a non stick spray. You may also choose to flour it lightly but be sure to dump any excess flour from the Bundt pan so you don’t have white specs of flour on your cake.

Reserve two cups of the cake mix and pour the rest in your prepared Bundt cake pan. Place the pudding in a ring on top of the cake mix. It is best not to go all the way to the side of the Bundt cake pan as you need to seal the cake with the reserved mix. Place the remaining mix over the pudding sealing the cake to the edges of the Bundt pan. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes at 350. When the cake starts to pull away from the Bundt pan it is done. Cool for 20 minutes in the Bundt cake pan and then invert and sit on a wire rack for another 20 minutes before frosting.
