Buckingham Valley Vineyards has been owned and operated by the Forest Family since 1970, and offers self-guided tours, tasting, and they are the only distributors of their wine. They have just friends and family working there, and they have an attractive forty area site that has a wine production of 40,000 gallons a year. The beautiful grounds and sculpture garden outside the facility prove for an amazing walk around the exterior area.
The Rose Bank winery is so close to the heart of Newtown; you can spend the day shopping, go to the winery for a tour and tasting, and then head back into town for a magnificent meal to cap the day off. They are currently under expansion with a new facility to bring even more of the experience to their visitors. Boasting 23 wines in their cellar and party facilities that can accommodate most any party or wedding Rose Bank Winery knows how to make any event an extraordinary occasion. There are two buildings for events; one which holds 75 guests and the other that holds up to 220 guests. They also can make personalized labels for your favorite Rose Bank Wine for gifts or party favors.
The Sand Castle Winery in Erwinna, Pa offers twelve distinctive wines, which are all grown and bottled on the estate’s property. They offer five different tours from a simple tasting to a VIP Educational Tour, and Principals of Wine Tour. They have two distinctive rooms and a garden tent area for any of your special-occasion needs. Their upstairs gallery with its beautiful artwork can accommodate up to 115 people for parties and weddings. They also have a generous garden pavilion tent to hold large parties and a downstairs tasting room which can accommodate 120 people. The events can run for five hours and offers an excellent choice of four different types of wine.
