The final episode of this mini-series, The Horse May Talk, concludes Bridget’s life in Europe and moves it to the United States where she intends to spend her life with her much younger male companion.

One thing that caught me off guard when I first watched this is how dark and dramatic this mini-series was. As a fan of As Time Goes By, I expected that this program would be lighter and that it would contain more humor. However, this is not the case.
