Best Tops for Small Breasted Women

If you’re lucky enough to have small breasts, the clothing world is your oyster, so long as you know how to shop. There are trials that afflict both small and large breasted women when it comes to tops, but for all you fellow small breasted ladies out there, here is a guide on how to get the best tops for your body type, no matter how small you are in the cup.

For anyone wondering, I am a 32 AA, which makes me extra conscious of finding tops that flatter my figure. I’ll tell you right now that the best tops for a smaller breasted female are plain tops, or at least tops that don’t have designs on the bust. Choose shirts that are a a regular neck to help the stomach appear longer and won’t amplify the fact that you have less cleavage than other women. Shirts in lighter colors, like pinks and baby blues, with no designs or with designs away from the bust, work wonders in promoting small boobies without making them look flat. Darker colors by contrast minimize an already small bust.

Go for puff sleeves cap sleeves. This way you can show more shoulder which gives the upper body more volume. My t-shirts are mainly small cap sleeves or a ruched sleeve to make my barely there ladies and small arms look more voluminous.

A small v-neck is great for when you are wearing dark colors. Deep jewel tones or dark browns and blacks compliment a small breasted lady when she has a slight v-neck going. Don’t go too deep as this will just make you look empty in your chest. A simple v breaks up the fabric and gives you a more chesty appearance.

Since we don’t need to worry about our girls popping out, shirts with a boat neck, or low shirts with an umpire waist work wonders for a smaller bust. Especially when there is rouching involved in the breast area. If you can get your hands on an umpire waist dress or top that cuts just under the boobs, get it. Little ladies look best in these shirts, and look lovely just as they are.

Tank tops are excellent tops for small breasted women, as are camisoles. Be proud of your lovely little gals that don’t need supported by a bra. A tank with a shelf bra or a camisole are all the support you need to let your boobs bounce proudly (ever notice small boobs only bounce without a bra and require actual full body bouncing to get them to move?), and add a jacket or overshirt unbuttoned to class up the look.

Avoid tiny straps. Tiny straps just make you look even smaller on top. Go for a wider strap, or off-the-shoulder strap when wearing tanks, undershirts, and dress tops that are sleeveless. Once again, avoid patterns on your boobs unless they are rouching or ruffles, which will balance out your figure rather than make you look even smaller.

Buy a bra without padding, already! Padded bras are extremely noticeable, and when your bits can’t fill out the padding your bra keeps its egg shape, which creates an odd-looking silhouette. Buy non-bulky bras like bras without under wires (you don’t need them and your boobs are too small to hide the under wire through a shirt) and padding. Get just enough padding so you don’t look like you;re cold all the time. That’s it.

Avoid printed ts or shirts with wild patterns, which will make your little ladies and you look immature. Go for fitted ts in bold mature colors instead so you can show off your lovely figure.

And before you start getting jealous of C-cup there walking in front of you, remember, she may be jealous of your ability to not wear a bra at all, so be happy with what you’ve got. The boobs aren’t always better on the other side.
