It is designed for boys and girls who are between five to eighteen years of age and specializes in outdoor activities such as mountain hiking, nature trails, and canoeing. The activities help to build character within children while emphasizing the values of respect, responsibility, honesty, and leadership. In general, employees must possess creativity, patience, and a desire to motivate along with having CPR and first aid certification. Then, there are specific requirement for the various job positions: Camp Greenville hires Camp Counselors that are college freshman or older; Adventure Specialists and Resource Staff that are rising college seniors or older that have experience working with children and that possess certifications and supervisory skills; and Division Leaders and Administrative Staff that are rising college seniors or older that have leadership skills along with supervisory and camping experience.
