The activities help to build character within children while emphasizing the values of respect, responsibility, honesty, and leadership. In general, employees must possess creativity, patience, and a desire to motivate along with having CPR and first aid certification. Then, there are specific requirement for the various job positions: Camp Greenville hires Camp Counselors that are college freshman or older; Adventure Specialists and Resource Staff that are rising college seniors or older that have experience working with children and that possess certifications and supervisory skills; and Division Leaders and Administrative Staff that are rising college seniors or older that have leadership skills along with supervisory and camping experience.
