My all time favorite romantic spot in Atlanta is Front Page News, located at 1104 Crescent Ave Ne. This romantic restaurant has a quaint New Orleans theme and features many excellent menu items from that region. They also have a wonderful selection of steaks and seafood, sandwiches, burgers, and vegetarian items to choose from. They also have an extensive wine list. For an extra special dining experience sit on the porch which has a wonderful fountain and quiet atmosphere. If the weather just won’t cooperate the upstairs dining area also offers a wonderfully quiet and romantic atmosphere. Because this restaurant is locally owned and operated the owners are often on site to make sure each dining experience is absolutely perfect.
Another wonderful romantic restaurant in midtown Atlanta is Park 75 located in the Four Seasons Hotel at 75 14th St. The quiet, calm atmosphere yearns for romance. The marvelous cuisine ranging from Continental varieties to modern American is simply wonderful. Perhaps the most remarkable thing about this restaurant is their attention to detail. If you’re in the Buckhead/Brookhaven area the Aqua Bistro is a good, close choice. Located at 264 Pharr Rd., this restaurant offers a wide selection of Asian, Japanese and Sushi cuisine. The quiet atmosphere offers the perfect spot for a romantic dinner with that special someone.
If you’re looking for a romantic spot on the South side of Atlanta, the Italian Oven Restaurant in Stockbridge is a great choice! The food is simply wonderful authentic Italian cuisine and the atmosphere is quiet and romantic. I feel that I would be doing this piece a great injustice if I failed to mention The Victorian House in Conyers, The Victorian House is the most romantic place on the East side of Atlanta. The atmosphere is quiet, the service great and the food wonderful. The Victorian house is located at 1973 Rockdale Industrial Blvd. just out side Ole’ Towne Conyers. The restaurant, newly reopened in November 2006, has a quiet, beautiful atmosphere with a quaint Victorian charm. Each table set has lighted candles as well as fresh flowers to set the mood.
