Best Natural Go Green Hair Products

Green Hair, Hair Products, Organix

With the way hair products are made today so many people are seriously scared of getting cancer. Does hair spray and hair color actually cause cancer? In my honest opinion no, but some of the chemicals in the hair products can be damaging to the hair. The chemical can dry your hair out, cause frizz, and make your hair unmanageable. I have been using all kinds of hair products through out the years and never really thought about going green with my hair items until now. In my house I have my own separate hair cabinet, because I have many customers who come to my house for their hair and the products vary, because of the hair type they have. In the last two months I decided to kick it up a notch and invest in some green hair products that I feel would be worth trying on me and my customers. My favorite hair products to buy are hair sprays, shampoos, and conditioners.

I always love a good smelling product that will work on the hair, leave a nice after smell, and still make you feel clean and fresh hours later. Are there any good green hair shampoos, conditioners, and hair sprays out on the market? Yes, I have found 2 really great green shampoos, 1 green conditioners, and 1 great organic hair spray that is a must have for all women who want to go green with their beauty/hair products. Here are my choices for natural go green hair products.

First product is called Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Moisturizing Shampoo- Just the name alone makes this product sound splendid. The sweet smell of this shampoo is so refreshing to your nose. When you wash your hair for the first time using this you will be totally amazed how soft, shiny, and manageable your hair will be. It has a sweet scent of Honeysuckle, Rose, Chamomile, and mint. My hair is very curly and seems to get very tangled no matter what shampoo I use sometimes, especially with the humidity. After one use I can actually take a wide tooth comb or my fingers and run my hair through it feels like silk. You can get an 11 ounce bottle for under $12.00. Some may feel this is a tad pricey for an Organic shampoo, but it lathers up really well and you don’t need to use a lot.

Next is a product called Pureology Hydrate Antifade Complex Shampoo- As of right now this is my ultimate favorite green shampoo. When I first bought this I thought it was a little expensive compared to Nexus Therappe shampoo, but it said on the bottle for color treated hair and color protection. Knowing I color my hair and the warmer weather is coming I said “Lets give this a shot. When I first washed my hair the shampoo wasn’t lathering up enough, but I added a little bit more water to my hair and the lather was awesome. My hair soaks up a lot of water because of the texture of it. If you have coarse curly hairs then make sure when you use this to add more water after you apply the shampoo. This shampoo will leave your hair smelling so clean and fresh. This product is totally organic and not tested on animals. A 10 ounce bottle will cost you $20.00.

This next green product is a terrific conditioner that I fell in love with. This product is called Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner. If you are looking for softness, great smell, wonderful texture, need moisture, and like the smell of coconuts then this conditioner is perfect for you. What you will like about this is everything and that means the price as well. You can get a 13 ounce bottle for $6.00. What an awesome deal.

I leave you with the top Eco friendly Green hairspray. This product is called Mop Organic Glisten Eco-Firm Hold Hairspray- If you are looking for a good hold, shine, no stickiness, no build-up and a hairspray you can comb your hair through. Look no further this is the one for you. The smell is very nice and the price is great. I know $10 may sound like a whole lot of money for a 5 ounce can of hairspray, but most hairsprays on the market make your hair feel sticky and unmanageable. This one does not.
