Located on Westheimer Road in the Galleria area near the 6-10 loop and 59 south this store is easily accessible to all in the Houston area. Open since 1997 this enormous 7,500 square foot golf shop has been serving avid golfers your many years. There is a good reason why this Houston golf store has been thriving for over 10 years. They have not only a friendly staff but ones that are truly knowledgeable about golf and the merchandise they sell.
They are open Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday 9:30 to 6:00 and Sunday’s 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center they are located in right behind the Capital Grill. If you are a serious golfer or wanting to get the best advice and equipment then this is the store for you. One of the main reasons this is the best golf store in Houston is they are all about golf. Unlike some other sporting goods stores where they sell a little bit of merchandise for every sport. Edwin Watts sells anything and everything for golf exclusively.
You can tell a difference in the service as soon as you step inside the store. Many retail stores you either have to hunt down a salesperson or you are stalked by one. Here you are greeted by a courteous employee who is helpful but not pushy. They know their merchandise and how to help you get exactly what you need and are looking for. Many other stores the staff is uncaring and untrained and only care about staying long enough to get paid.
It is important to take your time while shopping they have such amazing array of golf merchandise you could really do some serious damage to your pocketbook if you don’t focus on what you are there for.
