Best Gaming Laptops

Alienware, Gaming Laptops, GeForce, Msi

While I like having a desktop computer myself when it comes to gaming, I also understand that many users like the portability and convenience of a laptop and as a result there are a lot of gamers looking for the best gaming laptop that their money can buy. It’s true that gaming laptops can get pretty expensive, but I am going to help you find the best gaming laptop by providing you with a list of the best gaming laptops on the market today that won’t leave your wallet empty.

Alienware M17x gaming laptop

As was previously stated, it’s going to be hard to find a gaming computer that isn’t twice as much as a desktop computer when it comes to gaming capability. This is in large part due to the fact that gaming laptops are relatively new to the market and as a result they have not had a chance to create the lower end, high performance hardware that is present in many of the desktop gaming systems today. That being said, just because it’s expensive doesn’t mean you should go for the most expensive, the reason being that just like desktops they tend to not be necessary for someone who isn’t doing constant video editing and rendering. This computer comes with a strong i7 processor as well as a two gigabyte GDDR5 GeForce GXT 660M graphics card. In testing the laptop got great frames in both battlefield 3 and StarCraft II, making it a great buy and one that will play the latest games as well as those in the future with ease.

Processor: Intel i7 3.4 GHz

MSI GT70 0NC-011US

MSI has made great computer components and parts for many years and so when I heard about their new gaming laptop I had to give it a try. Lucky for me I was able to get a chance to do just that and was amazed at how cheap the laptop itself actually was. While it doesn’t hold the same power as the Alienware, it is cheaper overall and also comes with more ram as well as a bigger hard drive. It’s a step down from the Alienware in terms of maintaining thirty or more frames at the highest settings in the latest games, but being a competitive gamer like most I want to see it perform with high frames at good quality and the MSI does that with no problem at all. What makes this laptop even more impressive is that it weighs less than that of the Alienware.Overall for the price it’s one of the best gaming laptops on the market.

Processor: Intel i7 2.4 GHz

Ram: 12 GB DDR 3 1600

Hard drive: 750 GB

Graphics card: GeForce GTX 670MX 3GB GDDR5

Samsung Series 7 Gamer

This unit was a little more expensive than the other two, but it made up for it in what was offered to the user. Not only does this laptop have a bigger hard drive and better graphics card, but it also offers more ram as compared to both the Alienware and MSI gaming laptops. Performance wise it was similar to the Aleinware in that it held high frames at the highest settings, but showed an increase of about ten to fifteen frames overall. As with the previous two the screen size is the same, although like the MSI it holds a lower weight then the Alienware.
