A little further south of Clearwater is Sarasota Florida where we find our next dinner theater The Golden Apple. The Golden Apple Dinner Theater offer 9 to 10 shows per season. Offering some of the finest talent in the area and very accomplished cast members, The Golden Apple Dinner Theater ranks as one of the most poplular dinner theaters in the area. Located in the heart of downtown Sarasota at 25 Pineapple Street you will find the theater along with many shops, cafe’s, and coffe houses in the art district of Sarasota. We would suggest spending a few hours exploring what Sarasota has to offer prior to your show. Parking is ample if arriving by car. Groups in motor coaches can be dropped off and picked up in front of the door. Cost for the dinner and show is around $40.00 – $43.00 per person. Seniors and groups are discounted. In Fort Myers Florida we find our favorite dinner theater; Broadway Palms. Now in their 18th season Broadway Palms offers 7-8 performances per season. Located at 1300 Colonial BL Fort Myers the theater has been tastefully decorated and converted from what used to be a Publix grocery store. With 448 seats at dinner tables in the main theater and an off Broadway Theater with seating for 90, you are sure to find an enjoyable evening. The buffet is the finest of buffet’s we have ever encountered with TLC in each dish. Do not begin your diet before going to the Broadway Palms for you are sure to spoil yourself at the ice cream and dessert table that offer a variety of cakes, pies, sinful, and sugar free deserts. Tickets for dinner and evening shows run about $51.00 with matinees around $47.00. Group tickets are available and discounted with 20 or more people. Parking is ample for cars and motor coaches.
