Bebe Clothes Store: Fashion I Cannot Live Without

Bebe Clothes Store is one of those stores that is hard to classify in terms of status. To sum it up as best as possible, I’d say that Bebe clothes store is a clothing and accessory shop that people on a budget can not go into and people with a budget will not go to. It’s like an upscale version of the Express or The Limited, probably in a similar price range with the United Colors of Benetton, but with a more risqué, trendy style. While Benetton is very politically correct and caters more to the professional setting, the Bebe brand isn’t afraid to get sexy and show some skin. At the same time, it is for a more selective, eccentric type of shopping enthusiast than the likes of other similar in status stores like the great Banana Republic and J Crew, for the clothing and accessories are highly experimental and daring in nature, while the former two chains have a slightly more sophisticated way about them. However, that is not to say that Bebe clothes store cannot be sophisticated. It’s just that the brand has more of a fun, party style to it and only in a casual workplace would you be able to pull of about 45% of their outfits.

I was one of those people fortunate enough to work in a place so “casual” as a popular Boston nightclub so I have been actually able to make great use of all of my numerous Bebe clothes. Sure, the job didn’t allow for much wear and tear possibility, for as the event planner for the nightclub’s weekday concerts and parties, I spent most of my time leaning over a desk. But in all fairness to the durability of the clothes, I suppose they have been sort of put to the test due to daily subway travel and some pacing around the 14,000 square foot Roxy Nightclub while touring clients through it every few days. My place of employment as well as the Boston, Massachusetts busses and subway system did not carry the best of odors (beer and Red Bull meet urine and germs, respectively) which means I’ve, throughout the years, had to wash my Bebe clothes store clothing way more than the average person who drives or say, lives in a smaller, cleaner town would have to. So I do feel that my review of the quality of Bebe’s clothing is a worthy one.

That said, the Bebe Clothes store’s accessory and clothes line really does seem to be of high quality with rich colors that don’t fade and seams that don’t split over time. I’ve purchased many designer pants and delicate tops from the specialty store over the past ten years or so since I discovered it and with the exception of one particular nylon shirt with fishnet sleeves, everything is still properly intact, just the way I bought it. The clothes, including beaded or embroidered designs on corduroy or other fabric, have been through the harsh extra heavy cycle of many different Laundromats and now, a personal (beloved) Whirlpool washer and dryer and they have yet to be destroyed despite their delicate nature. The black shirt with long-sleeved nylon fishnets is starting to become stretched out a bit in the arms and the fishnets are not as tight or aligned as neatly, and there are some holes, but this item was so incredibly tight from the start and after years of wear, some slack is certainly understandable for this type of item. But once again, as for the rest of my Bebe clothes store designed wardrobe, which includes quite a lot of items, everything is still in good, wearable shape.

The Bebe Clothes Store specialty chain for accessories and designer style clothing began as a single specialty store in San Francisco founded and run by Manny Mashouf since 1976. Mashouf is now the Bebe Clothes Store Chairman and Founder. Apparently, according to the official Bebe clothes store website company FAQ sheet, Bebe, pronounced “Bee-Bee” was so aptly named after the philosophy of time (“to be or not to be”) and also after the Turkish word for woman, the Persian name for the Queen in a deck of cards, and various other multilingual meanings of the word. Along with a few Bebe Sport and Bebe Outlet stores, the official Bebe Clothes Store chain of specialty shops extends among 242 stores in the U.S, Puerto Rico, Canada and online. Bebe wear caters to primarily the women in the 21 to 35 year old age group who are conscious about maintaining a sensual look to their appearance along with a sophisticated, uplifting style to fit their personality. According to Bebe, many celebrities flaunt Bebe Clothes Store clothing and accessories on a constant basis such as Destiny’s Child, Shakira, Alicia Keys, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez and Mischa Barton. Their brand has also been featured in many hit TV shows such as Nip/Tuck, Desperate Housewives, the O/C., American Idol, Entertainment Tonight and Alias.

I definitely recommend the Bebe Clothes Store brand of accessories and/or clothing for anyone who is looking for some nice, sexy, yet still somewhat elegant things to wear either to a casual, fun workplace or out for an evening with a date or friends. I absolutely adore my Bebe clothing and I feel that having this brand available for me to shop actually increases my enthusiasm and motivation for looking nice, because Bebe Clothes Store makes that so easy to do with the right style.

Check out the official Bebe Clothes Store website for a store location near you, or order a catalog to your house so you can order through mail/phone/internet. The clothes may look to not be worth the prices, (which aren’t really hefty but not exactly comparable to “The Gap” or “Old Navy” either) but trust me, they are. They will last you a long time and the fashions rarely go out of style.
