Beautiful Wedding Venues in Flagstaff, Arizona

Flagstaff, Restaurant Management

You’re about to start life as a couple and one of the most important events in your life now is planning your wedding day. The wedding site you select for your nuptials is a crucial decision. It will set the tone for your entire wedding.

Fortunately, you have lots of choices – a winery, a vineyard, a hotel, a ballroom, a Victorian home, or ? Ceremonies are sometimes done at the same site as the reception; often the ceremony will be held outside at one location, then move (but on the same property) so the reception is done inside. Many ceremonies are still done in churches and temples and the receptions are being held almost anywhere.

In this article I’ll mention a few beautiful wedding venues near Flagstaff Arizona. I still remember my only trip to Flagstaff as a teenager; it was a beautiful cool day (well, after leaving the June heat of Phoenix, it was rather coolish.) At a 7,000-foot elevation, this city is encircled by tall trees with the spectacular San Francisco Peaks looming in the distance.

The first beautiful wedding venue is the duBois Center on the campus of Northern Arizona University. The center has three different levels with a selection of rooms with varying capacities of up to 800+ guests. I suggest going online to get an overview of the rooms before going in person to look at them. On the second floor is their ballroom and a few additional smaller rooms you can use to dress in. Their catering staff will be happy to work with you on menus for your reception. There is also a student run motel, The Inn on the campus for your out of town guests. The inn has a lounge and a restaurant on the premises; it is part of the university’s hotel and restaurant management course.

At the Colton House, your guests might enjoy the patio area and the beautifully landscaped lawn. The Discovery Center offers state-of-the-art facilities and an adjacent outdoor courtyard. The entire complex has several catering options for you to consider. There is also a one bedroom apartment on the premises and other bedrooms in various building. The next beautiful wedding venue is the Radisson Woodland Hotel Flagstaff. With over 6,000 square feet of meeting and event space, there is sure to be something ideal for your wedding. And, their wooded gazebo would be the perfect setting for your vow exchange. With two different style restaurants on the premises, their staff will be happy to suggest a variety of dishes for your wedding reception. Your out of town guests can enjoy an array of hotel amenities, including an indoor and outdoor whirlpool, fitness center and an outdoor heated swimming pool.
