Never before, had I tasted a jarred pasta sauce that offered such a classic and robust, yet light and interesting flavor as the Barilla Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce. I think that this sauce tastes very much like a top – rate pasta sauce that was prepared in an Italian restaurant. The flavor is fresh and somewhat light, yet it is also sweet and enhanced by the addition of imported olive oil and tiny pieces of basil. This sauce tastes so good, that I ate quite a few spoonfuls straight from the jar before heating it to be served with pasta.
