Book Review: Sweet revenge written by Diane Mott Davidson

Diane Mott Davidson’s incredible words always leave me thirsting for more. For this reason, I dove straight into another one of her mystery novels titled Sweet Revenge. I was hanging on Diane’s every written word as I was walked through a crime scene that felt more real than my own fingers holding onto the book.

Goldy, the famous cater who solves crimes faces a ghost from the past. Thinking that this ghost is the one behind the threats and crime scene that has taken place at the local library, Goldy begins to chase what she believes to be leads.

As two victims of murder turn up, Goldy must use her quick wit and knowledge to figure out the truth. Once Goldy herself is attacked, the mystery begins to unfold within her heart as an unexpected guest begins to drop hints about who did kill Drew Wellington.

With hopes that no one else gets killed, Goldy begins to confront the ghost of her recent past. However, this confrontation leads to a surprising outcome. Did the ghost of her past kill the two victims of a bloody crime or was it truly someone’s lust for map collecting that caused a bloody fate for these two men?

Goldy will certainly find the answers within 22 chapters of a well painted artistry of words. Follow the emotions as Goldy strives to be a good mother, wonderful wife, professional caterer and a good friend. Watch the way Diane Mott Davidson causes the very life Goldy lives; unfold before your eyes.

Mrs. Davidson’s book Sweet Revenge is printed in 2007 and can be found online and purchased at a very decent price. However when it comes to this delicious read, you should never let the price stand in your way because I give Diane Mott Davidson’s sweet revenge a score of ten out of ten for being an incredibly believable mystery novel. Mrs. Davidson really knows how to make her readers feel like they are living in the book!
