A Review of Wal-Mart Bought “Branma” Work Boots

Construction Jobs

I do a lot of walking and working, so a good work boot is important to me. Most of the walking is done while I am working, and that is the most important time boots on. I am reviewing the “Branma” boots called “Province” in this article.

The first thing I am going to talk about is the steel toe. Having steel toes is important in the kinds work I have done. With all the things I have kicked and bumped into, I have found the steel to be strong. For some reason on the right boot, the steel will hurt my right toe. This might be from the broken shoe lace straps, and not really a design flaw.

Having water proof boots is another important feature, and that goes beyond construction jobs. In my last job I was working as a janitor, and found these boots did not hold up well. My biggest problem was with the short time the bottoms lasted.

The bottom on these boots did not last long. I think after one week, they already had warn to the hollow parts. And the hollow part is another problem I have with these boots. When those holes arrive, so do things like rocks. These rocks get stuck in the hollow areas, and then make their way into the boot. With the holes, you also have no water protection.

The tie clips broke off, and I have to tie my boot sideways. This makes a poor fastened boot, which comes loose and has to be retied. The shoe laces did not last long either, and I would probably be looking for something to improvise with, if it was not for the clips.

I purchased these boots from “Wal-Mart” for about $25.00. It is much better to get boots from a shoe store. You might pay fifty to one hundred dollars, but they will last. These boots would be used for a quick fix. Such as in a situation when all you have is about $30.00 to spend on boots.

If it was not for the hollow parts of the bottom, these boots would have lasted. But when the bottom went out, so did the comfort and water proof seal. If they had a better bottom, such as something solid. I think these boots would have a good review from me. But my review is, “they don’t last long.”
