I love cheese dip and when I spotted a jar of Tostitos Smooth & Cheesy Flavored Dip in the chips section of my local grocery store, I could not resist it. I decided to purchase this dip, try it and write an unbiased product review all about my personal experience. Here is what I discovered!
Cheese dip goes well with many chips and also many foods that I serve. From making homemade nachos to dipping tortilla chips or Fritos, cheese dip is a favorite in my household. I was purchasing a bag of Frito Lay scoop corn chips when I came across Tostitos Smooth & Cheesy Flavored Dip. This dip is in a glass jar. I got a large jar for around three to four dollars. Each jar has fourteen servings in it. That is a good dip deal, in my opinion. I love many Tostito food products and snacks. They are usually high in quality and have great taste, as any snack should. I could not wait to try this cheese dip!
Tostitos Smooth & Cheesy Flavored Dip is advertised as having a smooth and cheesy flavor. It does, I discovered. This cheese dip is fabulous. It has perfect texture. It is thin enough to pour over nachos yet, it is thick enough to cling well to chips. I loved that! This cheese dip has Monterey Jack cheese and cheddar cheese in it. That is a great cheese combo and I loved the flavor of this dip. It is straight cheese and if you love a creamy cheesy dip, this one will please you. It did please me. I can cook with this dip, make dip recipes with it and just scoop a Tostitos scoop tortilla chip in it. One of my favorite snacks is Fritos corn chips and they go perfectly with this product. Yummy! A great dip for parties or gatherings.
I was really surprised at the low saturated fat content in this dip. One serving has 50 calories and 30 of those calories are from fat. One serving has 3.5 grams of fat, only 1 gram of saturated fat, 5 mg’s of cholesterol, 200 mg’s of sodium, 4 grams of total carbs, 0 grams of dietary fiber, 0 grams of sugars and 1 gram of protein. This is a Frito Lay dip and we all know that company has a good reputation for providing tasty snacks. This is one! I rate Tostitos Smooth & Cheesy Flavored Dip five stars out of five stars. It is perfect, in my opinion. I loved this product. A joy to serve. One of the best cheese dips I have tried!
