A Review of Bizzy Bone’s Heaven’z Movie Album

Bone Thugs N Harmony

If you remember the rap group Bone Thugs N Harmony, then you will remember Bizzy Bone. He released his first solo album in 1998. The album was titled Heaven’s Movie and went gold. I think this album is one of the best released ever by any Bone Thugs N Harmony member. Bizzy Bone has a very angelic voice. He sings with passion and power. You can feel his message and emotions run through your body as you listen. He has touches many people’s lives with his music. In fact he sung his song Jesus to a paralyzed girl on the Maury Show once. Now I will review his masterpiece entitled Heaven’s Movie.

The first song on the album is called Roll Call. The beat is awesome and powerful. He comes in singing a fast melody while harmonizing in the background. It’s a great intro and good way to start the album. The bad part is that this song was cut short due to sample clearances not being made on time. It is still a great song and good way to start off the album.

The 2nd song on the album is called Thugs Cry. It’s a very deep and sad song. The song is full of anger and emotion. You can hear his anger and passion in every word he speaks. He raps fast and with lots of power. This is kind of a cover song of Prince’s “When Doves Cry.” And the chorus goes “This is what is sounds like, when thugs cry.” He talks about his life struggles and the problems he had been having with Ruthless Records. Another great song, and good 2nd song on the album.

The 3rd song is called Marching on Washington. On this song he walks about the corruption in government. It’s a protest song that talks about how law enforcement can be corrupt. It’s a great beat with a nice sample. But sadly due to no sample clearance this song is also cut short on the album. You just hear Bizzy talk in the intro and then say something at the end. Then the beat just fades out. This is a nice 3rd song on the album. You just wish the whole song would have been on there.

The 4th song on the album is called Yes Yes Y’all. It’s a great party song. It sounds like something that could have been on the radio or a club song. Bizzy sings the chorus really well. And the first verse is really good. He raps with lots of energy and power. Due to not having a sample clearance, this song gets cut short. The song gets cuts off right after Bizzy’s verse is over. His brother Capo comes in rapping but gets cut off at the end. This would have been yet another great song if the whole song was there.

The 5th song is called Menensky Mobbin. This is one song I didn’t really like. The beat is really good. But Bizzy just yells on this song. He doesn’t use this smooth sining or rapid fire lyrics. The lyrics are good though. And it is easier to understand him because he raps slower. I am not a big fan of his slow rapping. But this song is OK in my opinion.

The 6th song Waitin’ For Warfare is great. I would have to say it is one of the best songs on the album. It has so much power and emotion in it. It is what you expect from Bizzy Bone. The beat sounds like a military style beat with melodic strings playing in the background. The chorus is great and Bizzy sings very well. His verses are very fast and the lyrics are great. His brother Capo raps with him on this song and does a great job..Watiin’ For Warfare is one of Bizzy’s best songs to date.

The 7th song on the album is called Mr. Majesty 2. Now this is not even a Bizzy Bone song. It’s more of a song by a member of his 7th sign camp. Majesty raps pretty good. He is a very lyrical rapper and has a unique style. He was also featured on Bone Thugs N Harmony’s album “The Art of War.” The beat and flow on this song are pretty good. This is a good song. It’s a great song although Bizzy is not on it. So I’ll just say this is kind of a bonus track on the album.

The 8th song on the album is called Brain on Drugs. This is more of a interlude than anything. It’s a very nice laid back song. It has piano melodies in it. While Bizzy sings: “And this is your brain, this is your brain on drugs.” That line followed by a female vocalist who also sings” This is your brain on drugs”. It’s a nice laid back song that gets you ready for the next song.

The 9th song on the album is called On The Freeway. And all I can say about this song is WOW. Seriously I hate lover songs. I will tell you that right now. But Bizzy sings to great on this song. His harmony and melodies are so powerful and full of emotion. The lyrics are great with the beat to match. I think this song is a masterpiece in love song history. I think everyone should hear this song just to see Bizzy’s talent. The 3rd verse is amazing. It’s hard to describe. It’s like you get sucked into a magical world of fantasy when you hear this song. It’s a great song for couples or just something for you to sit back and relax with.

The 10th song on the album is called Demons Surround Me. This is a more spiritual song. Bizzy talks about how he played with the Ouija board as a kid. And now he now has problems with spirits around him all the time. He talks about how people die and go to the other side. It’s a deep and powerful song. Bizzy sings a great chorus on this song. The beat is also powerful and hits hard with the bass. This is yet another great song by Bizzy Bone.

The 11th song is called On Fire, (The Roof Is). This is a remake of the club song The Roof is on Fire. This is a great song with a powerful beat. Bizzy raps fast and with lots of energy on this song. I really like this song. I think it’s a great song to ride to. Or you could put this on at a party and have all the people dancing! I personally like this song better than the original Roof is On Fire song.

The 12th song on the album is called Nobody Can Stop Me. This is a very deep and powerful song. Bizzy talks about his struggles and pain growing up. He talks about his step father used to beat him. But how he now has his body guards, and he is in charge. He also touches on the deep subject that he was molested and kidnapped as a young kid. He was even on American’s Most Wanted talking about this. He also talks about how he is always looking for love and getting burning. But at the end he speaks about how no matter what he has been through that Nobody Can Stop Him. He shows that you can succeed in life. And he is living proof, because he grew up to be a big rap Super Star. This is my favorite song on the album. The music video for this song is also awesome.

The 13th and last song on the album is called Social Studies. This is a very angry song from Bizzy. He is talking about the columbine kids who murdered people, and another kid who killed a little girl. He says he wants to be the one to pull the switch when they are given the death sentence. This song is kind of violent. And Bizzy is full of anger. I think it’s a good song. But I don’t know if he should have ended the album with this song. Nobody Can stop me would have been a better song to close with. But all in all this song is great.

I hope this review will help in deciding weather to buy Bizzy Bone’s Heaven’s Movie or not. It’s a great CD and an album you should add to your CD collection.
