A Review of Bar S Cotto Salami: Only One Dollar

I am so fortunate to have a Dollar Tree store near me that sells frozen and refrigerated foods. Recently, I came across a pack of Bar S Cotto Salami in the refrigerated sandwich meats section. I almost fainted. The low price, unbelievable. I just had to purchase this salami, try it and write an unbiased product review all about my personal experience. This is what I discovered!

I discovered that one package of Bar S Cotto Salami costs only one dollar. Each pack has ten slices of salami in it. Wow. Now, that is a fabulous deal, all have to admit. This cotto salami has beef, chicken and pork in it. Let me tell you, I have many relatives that are salami fans. All of us were quite amazed and a bit doubtful, about this great food deal. I do love many Bar S brand food products. They are usually high in quality and very low in price. I could not wait to taste this salami.

My favorite way to serve salami is in a sandwich. I often grill a salami and cheddar cheese sandwich. That is how I chose to prepare this salami. I had one of my very favorite relatives and fellow salami lover with me. She was looking forward to trying this salami. She kept telling me that she usually paid almost four dollars for a pack of decent cotto salami slices. I told her, “I know that. That is why I am trying this out!” She laughed. “Serve ’em up, she said.” I did.

I served Bar S Cotto Salami on a grilled white bread sandwich with cheddar cheese, mayo and mustard. I also served dill pickles and potato chips on the side. We dug in. I really did like this salami. My relative did, also. It does have a great beef taste. It is a tad greasy but, delicious. It is very flavorful, spicy and tender. I also tried these salami slices on a regular sandwich, not grilled and it was very tasty. I must tell you, for one dollar, this pack of cotto salami slices is hard to beat. I loved them. I will be buying them again.

I rate Bar S Cotto Salami four stars out of five stars. They are well worth the money. You can crank out ten salami sandwiches for around one dollar. Wow! I am impressed. Very. Yummy and fun. One slice has 90 calories. 70 of those calories are from fat. One slice has 8 grams of total fat, 2.5 grams of saturated fat, 40 mg’s of cholesterol, 360 mg’s of sodium, 2 grams of total carbs, 0 grams of dietary fiber, 1 grams of sugars and 3 grams of protein.

I enjoyed trying Bar S Cotto Salami and writing this product review about these tasty sandwich meat slices. For more information about Bar S brand food products, you can visit the Bar-s.com website. Yep, this salami is a winner.
