5 Top Places to Shop in Orlando Without Spending Too Much

Cheap Clothes, Plato's Closet

I found out I was pregnant three months ago and wasn’t sure what to do about my clothes. My belly started to grow and my old pregnancy clothes from my previous pregnancy was all gone. I decided that I would spend little to no money in getting new clothes. I dont want to spend too much and then have it sit in my closet forever. In Orlando there are many stores you can go to that are really cheap and can save you money. The one store I really like is Shoe Land.

Shoe Land is located on Semoran Boulevard and it has shoes from $10.99 and up. The shoes that cost more than $10.99 are either boots or fancier looking shoes. I went there the other day and left with 4 new pairs of shoes and spent only $45.00. If I were to go to payless or any other store I would have spent a lot more. Now I have a variety of comfortable shoes that I can wear even after my pregnancy.

Ross is another store, and I know that Ross has many locations throughout Florida, but this store has really cheap clothes. They also have home accents, accessories and furniture but I think that the best deals are in the clothes department. I can buy a shirt for $6.00 or $8.00 which is really good. That way you can shop for yourself and buy plenty of shirts without spending plenty of money.

Plato’s Closet is located on Orange Blossom Trail also known as O.B.T. This place is great because they even pay for your old clothes. If you have gently used clothes that look like new just bring them to Plato’s Closet and they will give you cash for them. They also sell really cheap clothes and they are brand names too so you’ll know that they will last long. You can sell your clothes and buy new ones with the money they gave you, it’s perfect!

For accessories such as earrings and necklaces you can go to the Florida Mall. There is one store called The Body Shop. They sell really nice clothes for a fair price but I like the jewelry. You buy two and get one free. It’s a bargain! and the earrings they have are really pretty. You can get different colors to match all your outfits and spend only a little bit on them.

Last but not least is Goodwill, I know many people don’t like going into second hand stores, but you can find really good clothes for about $3.00 or less! When I want to get rid of my clothes, even though they are in good condition, I take them to goodwill. Someone might get it for cheap and look great! No one will know you got it from there. And no one should feel ashamed to buy from Goodwill either, be thankful for what you have and know that by saving money you can pay those bills on time.

So if you live in Orlando and are in need of some clothes try these places, maybe you can save enough money to treat yourself to a pedi-manicure, or a new hairdo. It’s always good to look for bargains. What’s the use of spending so much money on things that people don’t even care that you have. You might even regret the transaction after you bought it and saw something else you wanted and have no money to. Believe me, I’ve been there. So be smart and save!
