4th of July Fun in the Tyler, TX Area

Lawn chairs, sparklers, hot dogs, laughter, and of course, fireworks! If you’re in the Tyler, Texas area, there are numerous places to make exciting 4th of July memories. So choose a venue, grab your sunscreen, and go celebrate American Independence!

Tyler Jaycees 49th Annual July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza – $10 per vehicle

The Tyler Jaycee volunteer organization will be hosting various Independence Day activities. There will be a dunking booth, concession stands, a patriotic salute, kiddie area, souvenirs, karaoke, and a spectacular fireworks display when the sun goes down. Many man-hours have already been donated in preparing this fun-filled, family-friendly day of celebrating our Independence and giving thanks to those who have and will keep our country safe and strong.

Pleasant Hill Baptist Church – Free

“Fireworks will begin at dusk. Please come and enjoy a family friendly evening at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church!” In addition to the fireworks show, there will also be free hot dogs, chips, face painting, live music, and a tribute to our armed forces. Make sure to check in at the registration desk to sign up for 4th of July giveaways!

Dewberry Plantation – Free

The 158 year old Dewberry Plantation is hosting a reading of the Declaration of Independence for the 4th of July. Music will be playing for public enjoyment before and after the reading.

Living Alternatives (Fatherheart Maternity Home) – $15 suggested donation per vehicle

Family, Faith, and Freedom will be celebrated at Living Alternatives Fatherheart location on Wednesday July 4th.” The event will be picnic-style. Activities include: wet/dry jumps, bungee jumps, swimming pool use, a fishing tournament, food vendors, live music, face painting, door prizes, tours of the 10,000 square foot maternity home, and finally, a fireworks show to top off the evening. Grills are available for public use.

The Dam Fireworks Show – Free

Come on down to Concession Park at Lake Tyler and watch The Dam Firework show with Mix 93.1. The fireworks can be viewed on shore or on the water in your private boat. If you plan on viewing the show by boat, please remember to bring your life jackets. The fireworks will be displayed to choreographed music, performed by DJ Hans of Tyler, TX.

When: Saturday, June 30th. Fireworks start around 9:00 pm.
