Wow movie sequels are on the rise and there are plenty of movies that are going to have their share in 2013. Here is a list of 27 sequels to look forward to in 2013:
1. “Iron Man 3” – Tony Stark returns to battle his most powerful enemy to date, the Mandarin.
2. “The Hangover: Part 3” – This will be the end to the trilogy and a departure from the 1st 2 films, yet will just have to see what’s in store for us.
3. “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” – Part 2 of the Hobbit Trilogy scheduled to hit theaters in December.
4. “Thor: The Dark Worlds” – Thor returns to battle a race of Dark Elves lead by Malekith.
5. “Hunger Games: Catching Fire” – This movie follows Katniss after she has won the Hunger Games.
6. “Dorothy of OZ” and “Oz: The Great and powerful” – 2 movies that are based off of the “Wizard of OZ”. One is a prequel and the other is a CGI sequel to the popular movie.
7. A Good Day to Die Hard” – Yes! Another Die Hard movie.
8. Star Trek Into Darkness” – The crew of the Enterprise return home to find a new nemesis within their own organization.
9. “Fast and Furious 6” – Dominic and Paul are in Europe this time to pull off a new heist.
10. “The Wolverine” – Wolverine finds his way to Japan to battle the Silver Samurai.
11. “The Smurfs 2” – Gargamel creats 2 smurf-like creatures called the Naughties to steal the smurf’s magic.
12. “Despicable Me 2” – Gru returns with his 3 littles girls and the minions.
13. Monsters University” – More of a prequel to the Monsters Inc. movie.
14. “Red 2” – The team reunites to go against a new enemy in Europe.
15. “300: Rise of an Empire” – Circles around the Battle of Artemisium.
16. “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters” – Percy and his demigod friends return to go after the Golden Fleece.
17. “Cloudy with a Change of Meatballs 2” – The machine that was creating all of that food is now creating evil mutant food beasts.
18. “Sin City: A Dame to kill for” – Nothing new on the details for the 2nd Sin City movie.
19. “Paranormal 5” – Another Paranormal movie.
20. “Kick-Ass 2” – Kick-Ass joins a group of new superheroes.
21. “Bad Santa 2” – Little is know about this upcoming sequel.
22. “Scary Movie 5” – Can you believe they are making another Scary Movie?
23. “Best Man 2” – The Sequel to the “Best Man” movie.
24. “Grown ups 2” – The friends join up this time over the 4ht of July weekend.
25. “Anchorman the Legend Continues” – The Adventures of Ron Burgundy continues.
26. “Riddick” – Riddick is betrayed by his own kinds and left for dead on and alien planet.
27. “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” – Most of the Joes have been taken out my Cobra who is taken over.
