10 Future NBA Hall of Famer’s

Nba Hall of Fame, NBA MVP

Here is a list of 10 active NBA players that are sure-fire hall of fame players. The list is formed based on stats and championships. Based on a probability rating all the players listed are about 99% guaranteed to make the hall of fame if their careers ended today. The probability ratings were created based on the players in relation to current NBA hall of fame players.

Shaquille O’Neal- CENTER

Shaq has changed a lot since his baby faced days in Orlando. The one thing that hasn’t changed is Shaq dominating face time in front of the camera and trying to be dominant on the court, so far so good. Shaq has averaged 25.0 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game since entering the league in 1992. Shaq has won 4 NBA championships and was the NBA MVP in 2000. Shaq may not make the rapper hall of fame, but as far as the NBA goes, he’s as sure fire as it gets.

Tim Duncan- POWER FORWARD

Tim Duncan has done a lot since entering the league in 1997 out of Wake Forest as the number one pick. The San Antonio Spurs purposely lost games at the end of the 1996 season so they could get Duncan. It turned out to be an excellent decision for the Spurs. Since landing in San Antonio Duncan has used his patented bank shot to lead the Spurs to 4 NBA titles and also has 2 personal regular season MVP trophies in 2002 and 2003. Duncan has posted career averages of 20.9 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game.

Kobe Bryant- SHOOTING GUARD

When Kobe entered the league his was tabbed as the next Michael Jordan. He may not have accomplished enough to go quite that far, but he is definitely secured his spot next to MJ in the NBA hall of fame. Kobe is a 3 time NBA champion and has been dynamic since coming to the NBA straight out of high school in 1996. Kobe has averages of 25.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game.

Kevin Garnett- POWER FORWARD

Kevin Garnett or “KG” also came to the NBA straight out of high school. Kevin Garnett has one NBA championship in 2008 that has secured his spot with the elite in the NBA hall of fame. Kevin Garnett is a supreme athletic talent that has averaged 20.3 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game.

Allen Iverson- SHOOTING GUARD

Allen Iverson may be known as “The Answer”, or AI, regardless of his nicknames he has earned his spot in the hall of fame despite not being able to win an NBA championship. Iverson is a 9 time NBA all star and also has an NBA MVP award to his name. Iverson entered the league in 1996 out of Georgetown and has proved doubters wrong since. Iverson has averaged an amazing 27.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game. The assist numbers are great considering he has played shooting guard most of his career.

Lebron James- GUARD/FORWARD

King James is possibly the most dominant guard to ever play the game of basketball. James is a talent at slashing to the basket and has added a jump shot to his game to make him a supreme talent. Lebron led a lackluster cavalier’s team to the NBA finals despite losing and has become the face of the modern NBA. Lebron has only played a few years but would be in the hall of fame even if he took off his sneakers today. Lebron has averages of 27.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.8 steal per game.

Dirk Nowitzki- POWER FORWARD

Dirk is listed as a power forward but is great at extending the floor and being able to shoot the 3 consistently also. Dirk does not have any championships which could end up being a kicker depending on his hall of fame status but his stats are certainly to land him a spot. Dirk has career averages of 22.5 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. Dirk has played terrible in big games and that could possibly hurt his stock with the voters when the time comes.

Steve Nash- Point Guard

Nash has come a long ways since not being recruited for college and since averaging only 4 points per game with the Mavericks in 1996. Nash has shown work ethic unmatched by any modern players.
