People magazine reports that Houston Rockets’ star center Yao Ming married longtime girlfriend – and basketball player for the Chinese national women’s team – Ye Li at a posh hotel in his hometown of Shanghai. Their wedding took place at 7 at night.

Yao Ming’s Wife’s name is Ye Li. She is 25 years old and is from China just as Yao Ming. Ye Li is a very attractive woman and is a perfect fit for Yao Ming. Ye Li is only 6 ft 2 in comparison with Yao Ming’s height of 7 ft 6 inches. When two people love one another height is not an issue.

Asia Brief reports that Yao Ming and Ye Li met as teenagers in 1999 when Yao Ming was playing with the Shang Hai Sharks. Their relationship was confirmed in 2004 when they were spotted leaving an Athens Olympics closing ceremony.

So many people want to have a lavish wedding so that they can be the talk of the town. Once the talk is over, only the husband and wife have to figure out how to get out of debt.
