Xela Aromasticks – An Air Freshener that Makes a Difference

Bitter Orange, Goodwill Industries, Reed Diffusers

Decorating your house with style just got easier with Xela Aromasticks. With new information coming out each day as to the health benefits and the persistence to stop using candles in the house, these scented reeds are a blessing. In addition, every purchase helps out Goodwill Industries.

For years I have been addicted to using candles, I love the smell along with the relaxing sensation of watching the flickering flame. My family has started to be more earth-friendly and purchase with a heart, instead of with just money. So, I went on a voyage to seek information about a freshener that would not only effuse a scent into our house but also make sure it was not sending chemicals into the air. Lets face it, since the being of man we have been using chemicals instead of natural ingredients for just about everything; it is killing the ozone layer and the human body is suffering physically and mentally. It is time that we as intelligent humans work towards taking as many chemicals out of our lives and placing more natural/organic products in.

So, the result to the search for a replacement to my candle addiction, I found a company called Xela. It offers reed diffusers, which are quite popular at this moment for decorating. If reed diffusers are not in your area yet, it is basically a few wooden sticks that sit half way in a glass bottle and half way out, much like flowers sit in a vase. Each bottle has aromatherapy essential oils that give a different whiff each time you smell it. There is not an ounce of electricity usage, fire usage or chemicals in the entire process. The wooden sticks allow the essential oils to climb through the porous material and then diffuse the scent through an entire room continuously.

Xela Aromasticks come in different scents that work towards different uses for aromatherapy needs. For instance, here are a few of the aromasticks that I have used:

1. Uplifting: jasmine, honeysuckle, rose and violet. This option is supposed to lift up the spirits and give off a wonderful floral scent.

2. Loving: current berry, bitter orange and bergamot. This option has a wonderful comfortable scent that we like to use in the bedroom.

3. Invigorating Citrus: lemon, lime, jasmine and orange. This option is fantastic for the kitchen or office since it has a great clean scent.

These are the three that I have tried so far however intend on using many more scents in the future. There are many other scents that can be seen on the main product website such as one for dogs or cats, soothing nursery, comforting and so on. One container works for around six to eight months in total. You can purchase more essential oil after the bottle has emptied however I have noticed that the reeds tend to slow down in the diffusion after the first bottle. Replacement essential oils and reeds can be purchased though.

In addition to using no chemicals or electricity like other air fresheners, Xela aromasticks have many positive incentives to purchase them. For instance, the packaging is always 100% recyclable and is sent out by Goodwill Industries. Then, each time a new product is purchased through Xela, a percentage of the proceeds goes to Goodwill Industries to assist disabled individuals and gives helps employ new workers.

My family loves our Xela Aromasticks and we know you will too. They are a wonderful addition to our décor and make a difference each time we purchase one. Check out the main website for more information about Xela.
