There are 68 marked trails rated beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert with1 quad, 4 double chairs, 1 surface lift. They also have 12 miles of trails for Nordic Skiing and a terrain park that they are completely re doing and should be one of the best around. Mt. Baker Winter Vacation Resort is one of the more middle sized resorts with 30 trails rated beginner, intermediate and expert serviced by 4 quads 2 doubles and 2 rope tows. In addition to Alpine skiing they have sledding, tubing, Nordic Skiing & Snowshoeing and Snowmobiling. Look under the travelers tab. They have a list of area hotels that they recommend. Crystal Mountain Winter Vacation Resort is the largest of the resorts in Washington not in the number of trails, but in the number of acres(2,600). They have 50 trails with 10 lifts, 2 high speed six-passenger,
2 high speed quads, 2 triple chairs, 3 double chairs and 1 children’s surface lift.
When it comes time for a snack or a full meal, you do not have to go far. They have 11 restaurants serving everything from pizza and burritos to burgers and fries to a full formal sit down dinner.
