4. Romance author Dorothy McFalls offers several short stories on her website to whet your romance whistle. If you enjoy romantic suspense, mystery and action adventure mixed with your romance, then this is the author for you. 5. RomanceEverAfter a romance reader’s website has several short stories and even a couple of serials that can be read online. Be aware though that not all of the categories have stories, a few of them only have articles appropriate for historical research for authors. 9. Interior Motives by romance author Diane Maxwell is another free romance read to be found online.
