Veinwave Permanently Removed My Spider Veins

Prevention of Spider Veins, Sclerotherapy, What is Sclerotherapy

Spider veins on the face are anything but attractive. There are many causes for spider veins. It could be anything from sun damage, excessive alcohol, genetics, or even menopause.

My spider veins started around my nose that could barely be seen. They have since spread to my cheeks. At first I thought I had the skin condition Rosacea. Without makeup, my skin is visibly red and blotchy. It is an issue that makes me extremely self conscious, and I rarely leave the house without foundation and powder on my face. In my teens and early 20s, I was an avid indoor tanner. I know without a doubt that must be the cause of the spider veins on my face. I’ve tried several creams like vitamin K cream that claims to fade out your spider veins. That didn’t work. I then decided to spend the money on Sclerotherapy which uses a laser to zap away the veins. This therapy costs around $800 and usually you need to do several treatments. I noticed a slight difference after doing Sclerotherapy treatment but not enough to justify the cost. Since then I stuck to facial cleansers and moisturizers that helped calm the redness. While that helps a little when I try to hide the veins with makeup, it doesn’t fix the root of the problem.

I started hearing about a new therapy called veinwave and began researching it. Veinwave uses thermocoagulation to get rid of spider veins on the face and body that sclerotherapy can’t fix. It helps heat and close the vessels instantly and can take only 15 minutes. The great thing about this procedure is there is no downtime. No need to take time off work, you can do it on a lunch break and be back to your life in minutes. Veinwave is meant to be used for those with thin spider veins. For those of you that have thick dark veins on your legs then Sclerotherapy would probably be your better option. You cannot use it if you are pregnant, epileptic, have a pacemaker or a bleeding disorder.

And the main reason that I decided to choose veinwave: It’s permanent! Once your spider veins are treated and removed, they won’t come back. The treatment only costs around $300 depending on how bad or extensive the area is that needs to be treated.

Most patients only need one treatment; however, it is possible to have to come back for two to three treatments. I feel that veinwave is a breakthrough in treating spider veins. I personally only needed one treatment, which cost me $300. The veins disappeared from my nose and cheeks. My face appears younger looking because I no longer have any blemishes. I don’t have to cover myself and cake on my makeup. I feel completely comfortable going out in public foundation and powder free. I get so many compliments on my skin and my face actually looks better without makeup. I highly recommend this new therapy and think you will be over the moon with the results.
