‘Twilight’ Movie Series: 10 of the Most Beautiful Pieces of Instrumental Music

Instrumental Music, Movie Soundtracks

What do you think of when you hear someone speak of the ridiculously popular “Twilight” series? Sparkling vampires? Mobs of obsessed teenagers? When I about the “Twilight” series, I immediately recall the instrumental music that was featured the films. The film series has featured some incredible pieces of music that did more than their share in bringing the magic of Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” series from the pages of the book to the big screen. Read on for a look at ten of the best instrumental pieces from the “Twilight” movie series.

“How I Would Die”

How I Would Die” sets the tone for the “Twilight Series.” Played in the very beginning of “Twilight,” “How I Would Die” offers up plenty of suspense, mystery and intrigue and starts the movie off on the right footing.

“Phascination Phase”

Another song from the “Twilight” movie that captured my attention immediately is “Phascination Phase.” The song is steeped with mystery, passion and allure, and perfectly sets the mood on the screen.

“The Lion Fell In Love with The Lamb”

A beautiful addition to the “Twilight” soundtrack is “The Lion Fell in Love with the Lamb.” The song has a dark edge to it while evoking feelings of love, longing and need. “The Lion Fell in Love with the Lamb” is one of my absolute favorite pieces from the “Twilight” series.

“Bella’s Lullaby”

“Bella’s Lullaby” is quite possibly the most beautiful piece of music to come from a major motion picture in quite some time. The piece is delicate, exquisite and pulls at the listener’s heartstrings.

“Dream Catcher”

Yet another song from the “Twilight” series that stirs emotion and evokes thought is “Dream Catcher” from the New Moon score. The song sounds like a haunting tune from a music box, and is used beautifully in the movie “New Moon.

“Victoria” (from “Eclipse”)

“Victoria” from the “Eclipse” soundtrack is amped with feelings of adrenaline, danger, excitement and uncertainty. This piece perfectly heightens the mood in “Eclipse” and is quite beautiful as a stand-alone piece.

“The Kingdom Where Nobody Dies”

A song that beautifully sets the mood for “Breaking Dawn: Part 1″ is “The Kingdom Where Nobody Dies.” At first glance, there is a whimsical feel to the song, but then the mood changes, and becomes distinctly dark.

“A Nova Vida”

Another song that perfectly set the mood in “Breaking Dawn: Part 1” is “A Nova Vida.” Without this piece, the scene would have been just okay. With the addition of this beautiful piece, the scene is heightened and memorable.

“The Venom”

A song steeped with danger, intensity and suspense is “The Venom” from the “Breaking Dawn: Part 1” score. This piece is haunting and does a remarkable job of heightening the emotions of the audience. This is quite possibly the most intense piece of the “Breaking Dawn: Part 1” score.

“Bella Reborn”

Finally, the “Twilight” series song that trumps all others in my opinion is “Bella Reborn.” The song is haunting, stirring and deeply emotional. The feeling that something dramatic is about to occur runs thick throughout the piece. “Bella Reborn” is nothing short of absolute perfection.
