Tumaro’s 10-Inch Organic Garden Spinach & Vegetables Tortilla Wraps Review

Tortilla

I have always liked the taste of spinach and so when I saw the Tumaro’s 10-Inch Organic Garden Spinach & Vegetables Tortilla Wraps I didn’t think that a tortilla with a spinach taste would taste bad and actually found it very appealing. I had tried previous spinach tortilla wraps in the past and was eager to try one from an organic brand. Here is what I thought about these tortilla wraps.

Although their flavor is spinach and vegetable I didn’t think that the Tumaro’s 10-Inch Organic Garden Spinach & Vegetables Tortilla Wraps were overly vegetable or spinach tasting. Even if you don’t like spinach I don’t think that you wouldn’t enjoy these tortillas. They have a great taste and are soft, chewy and large enough that you can easily make a burrito with out them splitting at the sides or not being able to hold a lot of beans, rice, cheese and what ever you put into your burritos. This is not the only tortilla wraps from this brand that I have tried and they are definitely one of my favorites.

One of the reasons that I decided to try this brand is because they were organic and only about three dollars for a package of six wraps which is a great price for an organic tortilla wrap. The tortilla wraps are made with mostly organic ingredients, in fact only ten percent of the ingredients are not organic, and I am pretty sure that includes water, making ninety percent of the ingredients used certified organic. The ingredients of Tumaro’s 10-Inch Organic Garden Spinach & Vegetables Tortilla Wraps are organic unbleached wheat flour, water, spinach powder, canola oil, calcium propionate, aluminum free baking powder, mono-diglycerides that are derived from plant sources, salt, garlic powder, dehydrated vegetarbles that consists of onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, green and red bell pepper and spices, parsley flakes, fumaric acid, potassium sorbate, Blue No. 2, Yellow No. 5 and sodium metabisulfite. Although I must admit I don’t like the fact that these tortilla wraps have food coloring in them there is really nothing else about the ingredients that I think is bad. The nutrition facts are something else that I don’t think is bad about these tortilla wraps.

One serving is one tortilla wrap, so in each Tumaro’s 10-Inch Organic Garden Spinach & Vegetables Tortilla Wrap you get eight percent each of what you need of vitamin A and iron, you get four percent of the vitamin C you need daily and a whole fifteen percent of the calcium that you need daily. There are one hundred and seventy calories in one serving and twenty of those calories are from fat. One thing that seems kind of high is the amount of sodium that they offer, you get two hundred and ten milligrams per tortilla wrap. On a positive note though you get five grams of protein, two grams of fiber, thirty four grams of carbohydrates and only one gram of sugars. All in all I didn’t find anything too bad about the nutrition facts of the tortilla wraps.

I would recommend the Tumaro’s 10-Inch Organic Garden Spinach & Vegetables Tortilla Wrap to anyone. I think that they are a great tasting, affordable organic tortilla wrap that has very few flaws. I really enjoyed the package that we got and am sure that I will get them again. It is always so nice when you can find a food item that you enjoy the taste of and that that you can feel good about the ingredients and nutrition facts and you can actually afford to regularly get it.
