One of my favorite tracks from the “Boardwalk Empire” season 1 soundtrack is “Livery Stable Blues.” This track is retro, lively, and whenever I listen to it, I just cannot help but dance along. Whenever I listen to “Livery Stable Blues,” I feel like it is New Year’s Eve, and we are ready to celebrate the arrival of the new year.

“The Dumber They Come The Better I Like ‘Em” is a whimsical, raunchy, and seriously comical track with a definite vintage sound. I cannot help but laugh and tap my foot whenever this track comes on.

Another great song from the “Boardwalk Empire” Season 1 soundtrack is “My Man.” This bluesy, sauntering track is simmers with heavy brass instrumentals and rich vocals provided by Regina Spektor.

“Darktown Strutters Ball” is a song that is full of energy, emotion, and fun; every time I listen to this song, I cannot help to move along to the hypnotic beat.

“Carrickfergus” is a beautiful track with a distinctly Irish sound that captured my attention immediately. Sung by Loudon Wainwright III, this track is definitely one of the standouts on the soundtrack.

“Wild Romantic Blues” is a high energy track with an alluring sound that definitely deserves high praise. Featuring a jazzy sound, vintage feel, and beautiful vocals by Nellie McKay, “Wild Romantic Blues” is definitely one of the best tracks I’ve heard on the soundtrack.

A track I cannot get enough of from the “Boardwalk Empire” soundtrack is Kathy Brier’s “After You Get What You Want (You Don’t Want It).” I simply cannot resist the catchy melody, infectious vocals, and overall feel-good vibe this song emits.

This song has a great energy, high quality vocals, and distinct vintage charm that cannot be resisted. This song gives a humorous glance at the political climate at the time in which “Boardwalk Empire” takes place.

“Life is a Funny Proposition After All” is a great song on the soundtrack by Stephen DeRosa. This song is the perfect song to end the soundtrack, and coincidentally, Season 1, on. The song is highly relatable, has a great sound, and I simply can’t get enough of it.
