There are many vineyards and wineries in Florida, all of which offer unique fruit flavored wines and gifts. Each winery is known for their own special wine creation and no two are alike.

Check out some of the wineries in the Northern Florida area.

Chautauqua Vineyards

Be treated to a special day on wine tasting tours of the Chautauqua Vineyards. Since it’s opening in 1989, Chautauqua Vineyards has received more than 140 medals for their wine creations.

Wines offered at the vineyard include dry, barrel fermented and southern sweet. All of which are absolutely divine and make a great dinner pairing. Visitors can also learn about the grape growing and wine making processes at the vineyard.

Wine tasting, tours and gift shop at Chautauqua is open daily throughout the year (closed on major holidays).

Emerald Coast Wine Cellars

Emerald Coast Wine Cellars offers complimentary wine tasting seven days a week throughout the year. Wines available for tasting are made from the vineyard’s very own muscadine grapes, blueberries and blackberries.

In addition to wines, Emerald Coast Wine Cellars offers a great gift selection of gourmet food made from Florida native grapes, including jellies and jams. This is the perfect location to get a unique gift or souvenir while vacationing in Northern Florida.

Monticello Vineyards and Winery

This small 50-acre vineyard produces many products made from native muscadine grapes, including more than 18 varieties of wines. Monticello Vineyards and Winery may be a small one, but is one of the best known for its sweet wines.

Take time to enjoy a tour of the vineyard and learn how Monticello creates its wines. Tours and wine tasting are available on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Though only open on the weekend it is a great place to visit during a weekend getaway.

Seabreeze Winery

Seabreeze Winery purchases some of the best muscadine grapes grown in Northern Florida from the Kyote Vineyards. Kyote Vineyards grows four different types of muscadine grapes on its more than 100 acres, including noble, Carlos, welder and magnolia.

Products created by Seabreeze Winery include both dry and sweet wines with blueberry and blackberry flavoring.

Tours of the winemaking facility and wine tasting are available seven days a week, excluding major holidays.

Tangled Oaks Vineyard

A certified Florida Farm Winery, the Tangled Oaks Vineyard, is located just east of Gainesville. Tangles Oaks is best known for its traditional wines made from Florida grown grapes. Each of the wines are uniquely flavored with hint of fruit, including blackberries and blueberries.

Tours of Tangled Oaks Vineyard wine making facility, including wine tasting are available seven days a week.

In addition to selling their uniquely flavored wines, the gift shops also sells locally created gift items. Items include oil paintings, prints, woodcarvings and hand painted glass.
