New York City is the wonderful capital of New York. Within the city of New York there are many places to visit and have a good time. Central Park:
Central Park is a huge park that has many of activities to participate in. You can go to the Central Park Zoo which is a wonderful place for every member of family. The Tisch Children’s Zoo is a great place for children to be a part of many interactive activities such as performances, petting zoos and climbing activities. Also, you can enjoy the Central Park Movie Walking Tour. You will be able to view the different locations in Central Park that were used to film many movies. Central Park’s Delacorte Theatre is the home to Shakespeare in the Park. This event contains free performances to the public. There is also a Central Park Bike Tour that lets people observe key sights in Central Park in two hours.
Metropolitan Museum of Art:
The Metropolitan Museum of Art is a very popular attraction in New York City. There are many displays such as Tiffany Stained Glass, Rembrandt Paintings and Ancient Egyptian Vases. This museum costs about $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, $10 for children and free under 12 years old with a paid adult.

Attached to the Museum of Modern Art is the Bar Room at the Modern. This bar plays a great selection of music that is comfortably distant as opposed to thumping directly into your ear. Also, the drink menu is unique and very popular. Its most popular drink, Coming Up Roses is made from champagne, lime and rum, rosewater and rose petals. Coney Island:
Make sure to make it to the world famous Coney Island. Experience some great rides for adults and children. Coney Island attracts many visitors despite its age. On July 4th, Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs holds its annual hot dog eating contest. The best time to visit Coney Island is form Memorial Day to the middle September.
Statue of Liberty:
The Statue of Liberty has become the symbol of freedom in America. Visit the nation’s landmark along with many other tourists. There is nothing like seeing the Statue of Liberty in person.
Time Square:
Time Square is another famous New York City location to visit. It is well worth it even though it is very crowded at times. You can get a real sense of the New York life in Time Square.
Fifth Avenue:
Whether it is Christmas time or anytime of the year, Fifth Avenue is a wonderful place to visit when in need for a shopping adventure. Fifth Avenue is the home to many upscale shopping boutiques.
