In addition to the costumes, the facial expressions and poses are priceless. We found ours at Urban Outfitters in Washington DC. They have stores nationwide, as well as an online store. Sure to provide lots of laughs.
3) Herbal soaps, hand/body lotions, and remedy teas, these are made to order when purchased for freshness and quality. Comes nicely packaged in a reusable basket, reasonable pricing, and make a great personalized gift. Offered by River Birch Creations (website is below).
4) Name your own star at Star Registry. Kits are available to name your own star. Very unique and personal, comes with certificate including name and date specified, the telescopic coordinates and an information booklet. Sure to be treasured for years to come.
5) Family Coat of Arms. Another unique and personal gift for those proud of their heritage. Not only for the Irish. Numerous items available with the family coat of arms, including parchment with picture and history, mugs, etc. A meaningful and thoughtful gift. There are several online retailers, just search “family crest gifts”.
6) Like being outdoors? Not very athletic? Do you like playing horseshoes? Try pitching Washers. Fun game for all ages, similar to horseshoes. Best if kids are 7 or older.
7) For the computer nerd in your life, or frequent traveler, a USB Flash Drive/Storage key chain is a superb item. SanDisk is a major manufacturer of these items. Prices range from approximately $25.00 for a 1gb memory and up, depending on the memory size you want. This is also great for students, as it allows storage of key documents to be loaded and transported for download to another computer, with ease. Can also have personal locks, in case it is lost or misplaced, so provides safety as well. These are available at Best Buy, Circuit City, and Ebay, to name a few.
8) Sushi-making kit and other gourmet items for the chef or chef wannabe. A complete sushi-making kit is available for $35.95 (plus shipping). This website has many gourmet items for the blossoming chef. You’ll find teas, sauces, seafood, certified organic products, seasonings, books, herbs, kids cooking kits, and much more. 9) Gag gifts and those that have an unusual sense of humor, this site is great. I perused it for over an hour. From White Trash Etiquette book to Pink Flamingos, you are sure to find the best humorous or gag gifts here. Very unique items, sure to be a one of a kind gift. Website is shown below.
10) For entertaining the inner child (not for kids), this is another great site for unique gifts. Funny, entertaining, and sure to bring laughs, this site includes Homer and Family Guy talking figures, Strangle the Boss doll, Nunzilla, Executive Sandboxes, things that shoot, weird science, stocking stuffers, etc. It also has a section of ‘offbeat treats’ such as Just Like Dad bubble gum cigarettes, candy bra or g-string, Death Mints in a coffin, Last Supper After Dinner mints, and more.
