Catamount has32 trails with 6 lifts, 1 Quad Chairlift, 1 Triple Chairlift, 2 Double Chairlifts, 1 Wonder Carpet and 1 Handle Tow, In addition to Alpine skiing, there is Nordic Skiing, snowboarding, half pipe and there is night skiing. Check with them about deals with the local hotels.

Ski Butternut features22 Trails 10 Lifts (3 quads), a Tubing Center, snowboarding, Nordic Skiiing, and terrain parks. This is a great ski resort to come to for beginning skiers. They have great beginners trails and an excellent ski school. Check out the lodging options on the site. There are a great many in the area and the rates can start at less than $45 a night mid week with a ski and stay special.

Jiminy Peak is one of the larger ski resorts in Massachusetts and it has everything you need for your vacation right on the site. They have day care available, so the adults can take advantage of the night time activities and entertainment.
They have 44 trails ranging all the way from beginner to expert. There is a total of 8 lifts 2 Triple Chair,2 Quads, 2 chair, 1 six and a carpet. There is night skiing available on trails at all the levels. There is snowboarding, tubing and ice skating available also.
When you get hungry, or just want to take a break from the slopes, you have plenty of choices.

The Country Store at Jiminy Peak
Though not a sit down restaurant, The Country Store offers wonderful meals as well as soups, chili and sandwiches.

For lodging, they have a county inn that is first rate. There are 101 first class suites and it is located right at the base of the mountain. This is really a home away from home and the rates start at $129 a night. There is a master bedroom with a king size bed and in the living room there is a queen size pull out sofa, so there is plenty of room for everyone. And it goes up to a three bedroom condo.
