Top 5 Spring Break Planning Websites for College Students

Inertia

If you’re a college student planning for an excellent spring break trip, you already know that you have two things working against you: you’re a college student and you’re planning for a huge trip. Most college students don’t work, or work very little which means they aren’t pulling in enough money to really go on an excellent trip like they’d wish. Believe it or not, you can have the trip you’d like, and it’s very possible without breaking the bank. The five sites listed below will help save you money when you’re planning for your Spring Break.

StudentCity.com– Student City works in two ways. You can either sign up for a trip (with several choices to choose from, it’ll be hard to choose just one!), or you can opt to work for them by selling spring break trips to other students. If you sell trips for them, you can earn money AND a free trip! The more trips you sell the more perks you get. Perks include access to VIP area’s and coupons for free or discounted drinks and meals. The possibilities are endless and the job opportunities are also endless. Becoming a Student City rep means you can set your own hours. As long as you sell trips, you can earn a free trip plus cash, what could be better than that?

Meaningfultravel.com– If you’re the kind of student that would rather spend your break helping someone instead of dealing with the party crowd, then this site is for you. With several different travel options, it won’t be hard to decide what you’d like to do. If you’re interested in teaching abroad, especially English as a second language, then Meaningful Travel can help you accomplish that goal. There is so much information on traveling that it will take you awhile to weed through everything, but it is worth it!

StudentUniverse.com-If you’re looking for really cheap airfare for the place you want to visit and are having a hard time, then try Student Universe. Student Universe has some great flight rates for student travelers, and they have rates for all over the world. However, the deals do not stop there. If you are looking for rail rates, and good clean Hostels to stay in, then check them out. Their online booking area allows you to book a room in a Hostel for a nice price. If you’re interested in trip packages, Student Universe also has those as well. Student Universe is one of the best sites for student travelers in my opinion.

Travelcuts.com-Travel Cuts is another great site that includes everything that a student traveler going on a Spring Break trip would need. Flights, hotel accommodations, and rail rates are just some of the information that can be found. Weekly trip deals are listed on the front page. Travel insurance is also on this page and is pretty cheap, less than $2 a day to be in fact. You can even book a bed for $5 a night! I think I like that idea.

InertiaTours.com-If you’re thinking about South Padre Island then this would be a great place to start. They have excellent rates for everything South Padre related. South Padre is a party area, so if you’re really interested in having a party Spring Break, then I’d stick with Inertia Tours. However, Inertia doesn’t just stick with South Padre tours. They have other Spring Break trip packages available and even have Winter Break trips available as well. A lot of surfing around the site will benefit you well!
